That's the problem.
There can be a difference from a PC to a Console.
But if your not into pushing highend framerates 144fps, or 4k at ultra. Your not going to be any benefit.
Obviously a PC can be used for many things, but if your just gaming and like the sofa. A console is enough.
Also I'm shocked at how the graphics card market has gone, but I shouldn't be. Considering how anything tech is gone silly i...
I like physical media. Gives me choice if I want to sell or keep the game without asking for refunds. or if I'm finished with a game and can pass it on.
atm imo unless a game is old or in a sale. Games bought online are more expensive. Games bought online should be cheaper in the first place. Nothing physical. Just digital.
Always makes me laugh when It says PC.
Barely any ppl have 3080's and 3090's.
The most common cards that are used on steam etc are 1060's and 1660 supers.
Runs better on PS5 vs Series x from what i've seen.
We need a New Uncharted on PS5. It would look awesome, 60fps Many more puzzles, crazy action sequences, over the top stuff.
I Hate when they land on me, those snowflakes:)
When a game starts in 2012 with the scope of what they wanted to do, should have released in 2014, was never going to happen.
Then they added this and added that. and it's never really left beta phase and I think it'll always be a beta.
For a game that raised $370,000000. They could have hired the industries best and got it done.
What were they paying themselves and the team, lol. If most of that money is gone.
...
Lets be honest, the game was never going to be finished. The scope of the project is way too big. You would need thousands of people split into various teams working on it. lol.
If people want to spend their money on a product, that's upto them and if they enjoy it. Whats the harm. I don't play it and don't really care about it.
If a full game comes out BROKEN at full retail price. aka BF2042, CYBERJUNK. That's an issue. If a game is not f...
Seems like the PS5 is kicking ass imo.
It's got a massive shortage the PS4 did not have, the pandemic and it's very hard to get hold of now.
Once things get back to normal, PS5 will edge ahead.
I want Apples to Outsell oranges this year and grapes to finish dead last.
No actually I don't give a sHT.
You buy the system for the Games you know are coming to your system and the experience it provides.
You don't buy a TV so the company outsells it's rival. doh
I have an AMD GPU, But DLSS is better and provides better framerates while maintaining good iq imo.
Don't buy anything in game.
end of.
DOA
The Thing is, Many on this site are young.
BOTW is a good game, no doubt and it does many things in an open world type affair correct.
But Many things it does have been done many time in many different games.
Climbing towers. They are called ubisoft towers for a reason. Heck shadow of mordor does it.
Hand Glider - Farcry, Just cause. many others.
What about this 1999 game I played and loved. Villai...
it's the Engine. Many of the engines are still using older code and workarounds and have poor performance.
Halo Infinite is a prime example. Nothing special graphics wise, but runs like crap on many PC's. Engine is poor.
Assassins creed is a Dynamic rez on Series s, Running mainly at 1296p @30fps.
The 60fps Version that was patched in is 800p most of the time.
It's GPU bound.
Not sure what you expect from this GPU. It was never a 1440p card in Modern games.
it's 4 tflops ffs.
They are close because most people cannot get a PS5 and haven't been able to do so for sometime.
Were PS5's at Normal capacity, they would be miles infront.
The game isn't a looker and looks last gen, horrible colour palette and some dodgy textures.
Looks great, But should have a full damage model by now. Driving involves crashing. That's a fact of racing and of life.
Even if small amounts of visible damage, but it needs mechanical done well.
With Longer races, you would have to pit to get repairs or something like that.
PS5 only games will come. But I don't think Horizon has been severely held back by PS4.All game engines are adjustable to suit it's needs. Just look at PC. low to high have big differences. Then there's rez.
If you Output Native at 4k. Then you run the risk of being 30fps only. Pushing only graphics. Like many first party games do.
It still looks good at 60fps, but that crispness drops.
But that's the performance cost. ...
