As good as Doom Eternal is, i'm not surprised it's pushing those FPS on those cards or a 2080ti.
It will be interesting to see how it copes with Newer games coming with higher visual fx as particles, raytracing etc increase.
They are mega cards though. You'll need a very powerful system behind it.
First 3 were the best.
The last 2 never felt like Tomb raider games. I bought the original the day it came out on PS1 and it blew my mind.

It's just a graphics card, you'll still be playing the same games you already do, but at higher rez or more fps.
PS5 is a whole machine.

RTX I/O relies on those cards to do the work.
For this type of tech to be mainstream, you would need a complete reworking of motherboards with co-processors to do the work.
The PS5 uses, not just a fast SSD, but a completely new I/O structure to get data in and out of memory blazingly fast while co-processors do the heavy lifting. Even the audio has an Spu structure to.produce quality 3d audio.

People tend to forget a few things regarding new systems and new games.
1) It's new tech and how to get the most out of it will take time. There are lots of new things. Not just TFLOPS.
2) You aren't simply putting a PS4 game on and running a 4K. The last ratchet and clank on PS4, would run at 60fps 4k no problem. But with RayTracing and higher visual quality on particles, motion blur, Materials and textures 4k 30fps is locked.

Should be a massive difference. Obviously depends what you do with it. Native 4k or upscale. Save on bandwidth. Ray tracing elements. Better particle systems. Higher quality shadows. 60fps would be awesome.

I couldnt get into the game tbh. I never liked the character. Robot dinosaurs were good though and weapons. Graphically its up there although something is missing to bring it all together.
But as a game running on standard ps4 @1080p 30fps. On a 7870 and jaguar cores that game on even a mid pc should be pushing easily 60fps at 1440k. A higher pc should have No problem at 60fps @4k.
