GTA wastes so much space with duplication of objects.
Only a few games use PS5 compression/decompression and full speed.
There are parts of both I like.
Textures I prefer on xbox for track, but looks worse grass etc.
Shadows from headlights on xbox cover cars and objects. GT just does cars.
Damage is a hard one because I know there are licensing problems on GT side, but Needs a full damage model.
Lighting imo GTSport wins, lighting from cars is correct and shadows and time/day is correct.

What I've noticed in GT games above all else and the control system is spot on. I know on the controller when I'm at the limit. GTSPORT even provides this.
Has the best lighting in a racing game. Has the correct rain/spray when racing in the wet. Other games get this wrong with Hollywood fx,lol. This is a sim.

Base PS4 holds 30fps pretty well. Only drops a few frames in massive battles.
Some are worse then others. I hate in racing games when it's raining. And everyone in the crowd has the same t-shirt or top on.

I wanted to love RDR2 but Just could not.
I tried it on PS, Then tried again on PC some time later. It's the pacing and the feel that killed it for me.
I love westerns, thought the graphics were awesome but it just never pulled me in.
I'm playing Elden Ring atm and it's hard in places, but it's fun to explore and the feel and pace of the game just works. Even though alot of it you have to figure out as you play.
I've played every souls game and tbh some of them were too hard for me to finish on my own. I know it's because I Never levelled up enough. I tend to try and play them like a Normal story driven game at times,lol and you can't do that.

30fps mode is Native 4k on PS5.
Obviously the performance mode is less for 60fps, maybe you mean the Chromatic look.
I'm only playing this on an old gpu@1080p and although there are stutters when loading new area's the game looks good and runs fine most of the time.

Series x will never produce 12tf. It's not possible.
PS5 punches above it's weight because it has a very high core clock, A crazy throughput ssd with custom hardware. Heck PS5 games are much smaller then other consoles and pc for this very reason.

Most newer games running at 4k need DLSS. This game doesn't have it. that's why.

Have to agree, love the exploration and discovery of new bosses and area's, but there's a lot to remember and where to go, who to speak to. Too many objects and things to click through.
I love the game, but It could be streamlined without handholding.
