I'm just not seeing where the game needs that amount of ram.
Yes it's open world but nothing special to look at, some of the environments looks bland asf. The water looks awful.
Seems like a badly optimized engine.

I enjoyed the original crysis and 3 and both were visually appealing without a doubt. Some area's better then others.
But the problem with crysis wasn't it's graphics, the problem was CPU. That's why many rigs struggled with it. single threaded.

Series x has more compute units, hence slower clock. less heat cooling, but more cost.
PS5 has less Compute units, higher clock, more heat requiting said goop. but less cost and less cost = more custom parts, i/e compression/decompression hardware/ cache scrubbers, faster ssd perf/ Controller. etc.

Awesome audio back in the day.
Sound cards are still good to have, but Motherboard audio, and audio in consoles are excellent these days.
But you need good quality headphones or speakers to justify and also a great game or movie that uses those features.

I know ppl love Res 4, feels overrated tbh 5 was completely over the top as well. Wasn't survival horror. More action adventure comedy. Nothing horror is either of those.

I think AC you can use mods to get path tracing and a better damage model.
But for GT after all these years it should have a better damage model and on PS5 a RT mode. They could have easily dropped the rez for it, Racing games are the lightest of the lot resource wise.
I'm still surprised they couldn't update the engine to support RT in game and not just replays. After seeing R&C, Spiderman do it. obviously with a drop in rez, shouldn't be a problem. Still needs a full damage system. Part of Racing is crashing.
