Trust me gamers know what goes into making games.
Here's the thing though. With any game. You must start with a good foundation. Being the engine itself. If it's unoptimized garbage and has tons of bugs in it. That's going to make life harder. It's going to affect creative decisions because performance is going to affect what you put on screen.
Then there's the team you're working with, Programmers,Artists, Animators, model design...
I get that people will say that without Microsoft, Sony will produce less.etc.

It's a good looking game with Some RT ambient occlusion and RT sound, Shadows look good as does foliage. The water looks off to me. But still good looking.

Sony keeps Spiderman PS4/5 etc because it owns the Spiderman i.p from games to movies.
I'm sure it would sell on XBOX, but as a system seller Sony would be silly to share it.
Obviously Spiderman 1 and miles are on PC and at some point Spiderman 2 will reach PC.

I think the game will be 60fps on PS5/SX prob 1440p or just under, then a higher possibly below 4k 30fps mode.

I think it's using some type of RT, it's not 4k. More like 1440p imo or close.
Looks vibrant, characters look better in closeup's then GTAV, There should be much more texture detail as well because of system ram of PS5/XSX and also SSD especially for PS5. That thing is a throughput monster. Hopefully GTA6 takes advantage of it.
I'm guessing 720p rez for Series s and upscaled to 1440p by FSR2.0
