the game looks amazing and they have some interesting ideas. i hope they can mesh them all well together. It's not a day one for me the quicktime thing doesnt appeal to me. I couldnt get into indigo prophecy because of that, but it looks very promising.

microsoft is a shixxy company for releasing something like this unfortunately i purchased one before rrod was mainstream and became addicted to gears of war i just love that game online inspite of the lag.. I recommend that people dont buy the xbox its not good to support a crummy product its too late for me since i already had a taste of some of its great games but new comers, it will break down its inevitable maybe not today maybe not tomorrow but someday and youll regret buying for the res...
my launch xbox never got the rrod what ended up happening was it stopped reading the discs but in all fairness it was bound to happen we played that thing constantly it was probably on about 20 hours a day for about 2 years simply insane too bad it was out of warranty by then... so i bought a new one and that one crapped out on me in less than a year with rrod got it fixed and later sold it since we already had a spare
People act like sony would never do this but the fact is that they dont have any franchises that people would go this insane for... They have amazing franchises imo some of the best but not massively popular. Except for gran turismo hence prologue they couldnt pull that off with any other franchise they have.
well it was two years not one, and yes im sure it would still sell. naturally not as good as halo considering odst outsold killzone in its first day "not playing a sales game" but yes a killzone horde mode could be great and what could a five or six hour campaign hurt.
I think the reason people feel cheated when it comes to odst, is because bungie usually packs in a whole lot of content. It appears that it was there intent to have this be a 30-40 dollar add on but microsoft thought otherwise. I played through the game and some firefight and the fact that there is no matchmaking in ff was a huge letdown. The campaign was great i can only imagine how much fun it would have been if they would have made a competetive version of this game definately would have b...
i dont see how they will lose their audience. With all the great games releasing next year its very unlikely, now if they had a year like 09 again they yes they would.
oh and you dont have to pay hundreds of dollars to play any xbox games on pc a 9600 gt will do the trick not on highest settings but will do ok except for gta 4 which was ported horribly.. but yeah i agree i prefer playing on a console i mainly play rts on pc.. besides consoles have the best games.
I find people very annoying just because a console has many exclusives doesnt mean you have to buy them with all the games that the ps has im only interested in uncharted,god of war and last guardian and i always enjoy some of the ratchet games.. for the xbox i love gears,fable and mass effect and alan wake seems like another series im going to add to it.
well from my understanding most people that play games on consoles dont usually purchase the games for pc... thats why sales on pc cant really be compared to the consoles so while some games are available on both platforms consoles always outsell the pc versions... On a different note to the people who only own ps3s i wonder if you also purchase all other multiplats on pc considering they outperform the system every single time for obvious reasons.

it seems like youre a devoted sony supporter youre going to buy just about every exclusive game availabe on the system... oh and the 360 does have more exclusive games next year than the ones you mentioned not to mention whatever theyre cooking up with natal it might be an interesting year cant wait for 2010s e3 will be nice to see what nice games both companies have in store for us.
yeah many great games for the ps but also for the 360 in 2010 my buys for ps will be god of war no doubt and amazing experience and lost guardian possibly white knight chronicles it looks good. for xbox fable 3 no doubt i love the series mass effect,splinter cell and alan wake maybe reach not to sure about it considering how gimped odst was..
really a disagree dark knight is only 13 bucks at target on dvd and if im not mistaken its 25 on bluray
@1.2 - downandout isnt that a discounted price and not everyone shops online retail stores have a very different price.
americans support trends its what sells things here... theres more support for hondas and toyotas and all kinds of japanese merchandise tvs i think the only things americans buy that are from the us are pcs if that.
@zlatko the thing about the last generation is that sony had many many third party exclusives that people love to play and while their first party games were great it was the third party that propelled them... i.e. gta,ff,metalgear,dmc, and so on i think their biggest first party game was gt so yeah... they need to get that third party support going again.
i dont play racing games simply because i think they suck but when it comes to the graphics from what ive seen gt looks better and it has twice the number of cars on screen... i heard gt is 1080p but i heard the res is 1280x1080 or something like that but i thought the real res was suppose to be 1920x1080 either way gt looks more impressive
this game doesnt exactly scream art it seems more like a movie than anything else but yeah they are doing something old and making it better "indigo" i believe this was going to be a multiplat title but quantic decided to just go with the ps because of the power so its a win for sony.
