its virtually the same gaming experience with multiplat games so why not? i dont do the online thing with xbox anymore cause of the fee although its not much its still more than nothing lol.
yeah and im sure sony wants some of that action now... There's too much money to be made,however i think they are afraid that their consumers wont tolerate an online fee its very difficult to go from free to a fee.
blah blah blah who cares who wins the console war. if both companies make a profit then it doesnt really matter. ms and nintendo are now,its time for sony to catch up with the profit.. I'm sure it'll happen soon if they play their cards right they no longer have to drop the price and can just coast til they make some money with the ps3.
i dont see how they are paying for it their games still look great and have great gameplay..
It all comes down to the developer and while the ps3 has "better" graphics its doesnt help them with gameplay.. At the end of the game gameplay is what counts. Gameplay wise there is nothing the xbox cant do that the ps3 can, you get me.
depending on the game you can use a control pad.
I dont have a problem with them punishing quiters but it would be nice if you didnt get stuck after you die. its only happened to me once but i know a few people who this has happened a few times.... They should put in dedicated servers..
theres plenty of variety.... lets see kameo,99knights,mass effect,alan wake,lost oddissey,blue dragon,crack down,shadow run,gears of war,viva pinata,banjo,lips,infinite undiscovery,l4d,ninja blade,too human i think most of these are new franchises from this gen so not to mention all the third party stuff thats out.
I dont think he means its better i believe its going to sell better than any of those games.. If marketed right it might sell better than halo3 assuming its a good game. However i think gran turismo might break some ps3 records and actually move systems.
yeah it is but in all honesty bungie didnt seem to have much of a choice after one and two you kinda have to keep things the same... Look at the poor reception resistance2 got from the fans. From what ive heard though,is that reach is going to be a very different experience. im hoping its somekind of third person game. i prefer thirdperson to first and i think they could come up with something interesting
Too many people think that halo is all ms has or that its all that matters to people on xbox.. However they are mistaken have they forgotten about mass efect,gears of war,fable just to name a few that have sold really well. Granted none have sold like halo3 but they do sell well, either way the only game sony has that can come close to that is gt5 and metal gear solid. nah the third party developers are holding back ps3 if you look at rage,brink,fallout,bioshock,ff 13,the new castlevania you can see there are a few developers that are investing quite a bit of resources into their games.
I could see ms charging for playing online if all their games had dedicated servers but none of them do so why do they charge? I'm sure sony will be charging soon if even one dollar a month. theres simply too much money to be made plus most of their games have ded servers with the exception of the game i play the most lol uc2
I really love the game but a lot of the jumps felt way too scripted the a.i is really stupid especially in the stealth sections of the game but the cinematics and graphics really took it to a higher level its easily a 9.
While forza is a nice game for racing fans its really just for them. This is the worst year for xbox in terms of exclusives. The only game i picked up for it was halo wars and thats just because i like strategy games. For the ps i got killzone and uncharted but now am making room for some third party goodness. next year is a different story so im going to have to save some cash for some great looking games on both consoles dont think ill have enough for third party support lol.
All they have to say from now on is games that you cant play on any other console or if you want to get specific on ps3 or wii. Either way xbox has a good lineup next year as does the ps3.
It sounds good but doesnt netflix let you rent new releases for their monthly fee? i know they have to ship it, but i think the psn video store is going to suffer a bit well if people begin to use netflix.

It seems people fail to realize that they are all businesses and will do whatever they can to get as many consumers on their platform.
While ms cant match all of sonys first party games in terms of quantity they are really good at building and promoting new and existing franchises. This was a bad year for them gamewise but next year is an entirely different story.
