Microsoft is as wrong as the atrocious grammar in the headline.
ummm...what?
That's be pretty great. Even though I already have a ps3, by that time I'll probably be ready to have the PS4 in the living room and the PS3 relegated to my "Future Man Cave Storage Box." So it'd be nice to not have to bust out the ps3 to play it, even if the game is exactly the same.
I just don't understand the point of just declaring you don't want any more games from this generation just because theres other games to play. whatever.
But then I realized you're probably a 360 gamer...so there's not much more to be excited about anyways.
You're not picking up any more games this gen... But you still have a bunch you "need to get your hands on"? How does that work?
Clarification = more confused lol
I continue to be confused about the PC gamers simultaneously saying that D3 was a crap game and being pissed it's heading to consoles.
This is why you shouldn't pre-order games friends. Or even if you do, please wait for some of the reviews from legitimate sites before you shell out your hard-earned cash.
You just never know with these things.
I can't even remember the last time I was unable to buy a game at launch/day 2 just because I hadn't pre-ordered. There's just no reason to do it. TO me, that extra DLC piece of armor just isn't worth the risk of being swindled by c...
Has anyone here actually played it? Just curious.
It gets a lot of publicity from the smart phone/tablet types...but is it ACTUALLY any good when compared to a console/dedicated handheld gaming device game?
I'm just envisioning a scenario where we all say, "Man, people were really overreacting to Modern Combat 4. It's not even better than BO:D!"
OF course, I'd be happy to be wrong about that. And in that case...BRING IT ...
That's really the main reason that I posted this video/article. I haven't seen this discussed ANYWHERE but they seem pretty matter-of-fact about it. That Sony is purposely hiding a feature.
I wonder if anyone has any thoughts about what it is.
That's exactly what the article is saying!
NBCNews posted up an article yesterday about how it didn't matter that we didn't see the actual PS4 since what matters is what it DOES, not what it looks like. I happen to agree.
But if you watch the video, the guy said another reason why we didn't see it is because Sony doesn't want to give away one of their secret features that would be noticeable if we saw it. What do you guys think that could be?
Look, the lack of backwards compatibility is a bummer for sure. But it's a necessary evil. Sony is just righting the mistake it made with PS3 and "The Cell." When PS3 was released, developers griped about the difficulty programming for it. If you can remember those early PS3 days, there were many shoddy ports (EA games, THe Orange Box) due to the learning curve.
So now, Sony had two choices:
a) Continue the proprietary architecture, allowing for...
What a stupid frickin "article" from another so-called journalist.
A happy developer can churn out AAA games and make the gamer's experience that much better. It's not rocket science.
_________
dirt: that's relevant because...?
doubtful. not surprised you have one bubble.
Despite nearly everything going wrong with its launch and it coming a year later than 360, the ps3 is now essentially tied with 360 worldwide.
yet for some reason, xbots continue to call it a "flop." whatever.
ps4 is clearly going to lead the way.
Well hot diggity dog...maybe ill get close to my first BO2 prestige
For the haters:
Sony has no need to SHOW the console or announce a price point until Microsoft has shown what they're bringing the table.
If you don't care about games like Destiny, Deep Down, or Infamous, I doubt you really care about gaming. So...opinion worthless.
NEWSFLASH: They'll probably suck.
Hahahahaha. RIGHT...because if Wii U is having problems, then supply is SURELY one of them /s.Just can't keep up with all that demand.
