People need change. I love the Wiimote for Adventure, FPS, sports and rpgs. The only genrre that needs tweaking is fighters and DBZ BT3 does a great job with the Wiimote there.
I can assume that next gen will be the 1st gen to have all console having a "motion type" devices and HD to try an even the field.
And Wiimotionplus upcoming, i hope to get another great AAA exclusive from Nintendo besides WiiSports 2.

hopefully the world could calm down about remaking FF7. The thing about it is the original PSone game is epic. From graphics to sound, and it would be a totally different experience from the original game.
Im currently going threw FF7 again (currently at Rocket Town), and i know im not going to play it again for YEARS to come.
All i can say is just make an AWESOME JRPG so people wont cry about FF7. It has been a long time since a major JRPG made an impact like FF7 ...
I didnt understand how many people bought it after the RRoD, and total over saturation of Western games (ARPGs+FPS).
I never bought a 360, and was planning on getting one if ME dosent come out for PS3. PS3 is a great console especially if yours is B/C.

PS3/360 fans are mad at Nintendo for being 1st place overall. If they were in 3rd place ala PS3, all the talk would be "good the Wii sux anyways etc."
Wii has hardcore games, and all ways had. Its just that the "fad gamers" are split between PS3/360. Gears isn't a good game. I said it and it sold 5 million copies, same could be said for Oblivion and other fads.
Nintendo 1st party games sell, because the CONSUMER knows that they are getting a quali...
they are a small minority in the grand scheme of things. Nintendo has appeased the hardcore: GTA DS, Madworld, HotD: Overkill, Dead Space, RE, NMH2, MH3, Muramasa, Conduit, Red Steel 2 and so many more.
The "fad gamers" just need to buy the games and stop downplaying the Wii on the internet. Buy games people!!

but a great challenge for any true "hardcore" gamer. Only gripe is sometime the camera was sloppy costing you a life but its still good.
