PS3 recently got Yakuza 3, KZ2, RE5 and SFIV so sales should be up for PS3 for a while. Nintendo numbers wont spike back up until Nintendo unleashes their Japanese line up for 2009.
From the numberous vids I seen, The main character is just running around blowing up stuff with his powers. Nothing more or less. There might be some platforming but your still going to be running around aimlessly blasting foes all game.
Im a fan of PS3 and shelled out $600 for it. This one looks bland and uninteresting so far, he better turn into DARK PHOENIX or something, lol.

nintendo has the 1st party devs to push that "gimmicky tech" and appeal to the masses. The masses loves Pokemon, Mario, Zelda, Smash Bros etc. So for them to push a new control scheme was easy.
MS on the other hand will have to have a solid 1st party team to create an experience that can only be done on Xbox 3. If they are going to use that "3D motion camera and Digtial Distribution" for Xbox 3 they are going to have a helluva time trying to properly market th...
because they can hype the technology a year before Big N and Sony can counter it. It wouldn't be bad for MS since 360 is almost 5 years old. How long do people think that MS will continue to support 360 when technically devs have to sacrifice quality for multiplats.
It would be bad only for the "loyal 360 consumer", not the industry in general. Just dont be surprised because the signs are there.
LP2 for both PS3/360 and Tatsunoko vs Capcom 2 for Wii. TvC producer claimed that their will be a sequel, just don't know when its coming out.

and 2nd, RS2 could be a killer app if they can manage to use the Wii motion plus the right way. The online mode HAS to be stellar in order for RS2 to grab anyone's attention.

Dont worry, people just love to hate the Wii because the HD console suck compared to the Wii. 2 Wii 1st part games outsell the majority of the 360/PS3 exclusives combined, so why even feed into their insecurity as a gamer and a person.
graphics are okay, but nothing to write home about. But the action looks fun, I hope it plays similar to SOCOM.
all they have to do is give us a decent online mode and WiiMotion plus.
If they can nail this right, they may have a big hit.

becuase it a Sony original IP that is not a sequel that actually looks awesome. I everything may slip. Where is GT5?? GT5 needs to come out ASAP because it's Sony's biggest 1st part exclusive and it needs to make an impact on the market.
SE needs to make sure that this is a great game unlike many of this gen efforts from them. FFXI and FFXII were average at best and left a bad taste for alot of FF diehards.
I hope they dont cop out on the ending, and stay away from melodrama. So far though it looks good and cannot wait unitl the Japanese release this winter.
Real question is HOW much different will the Japanese version of FFXIII will be from the American versions? (which are supposed to be identical,...

its too late in the life cycle. They could show 720 since, next year will mark 5 yrs of 360. They could just show 720, to wow us for late 2010 release.
But I wonder how the N4G crowd is gonna take it. Yeah it is a recession and swine flu is rampant, but people still buy consoles and games. Im looking forward for E3 now.

After looking at live MH3 footage whatever graphics tech they have can push out some nice Wii visuals. Cant wait for E3.
Because we all know without a doubt that Wii2 will be HD. So strategically speaking it would be in both camps best interest to make an even field. DD and holograms and all that crap caters to a very, VERY small sect of people.
I know this is a false about holography, but both camps would shoot themselves again in the foot while nintendo prints money like nothing.
I honestly believe next gen will see an WiiHD, Ps4 with superior tech, and a new Xbox with DD, and scaled...
