You're free to hold that opinion. I played it with my 4 year old nephew, and I liked it way more than I thought I would. I thought it was great, personally.
I thought this game was great, and so did my little 4 year old nephew.

If you really haven't given Fallout a go before this, then I seriously suggest checking out at least New Vegas and Fallout 4. 4 was disappointing in a lot of ways, but has the newest mechanics. New Vegas is just great all around.
