I love FromSoft, and love the Souls games.
That being said, I'm going to support them either way, I just hope they don't make me regret it. (Activision)
@deno
I've LITERALLY said in other comments that I don't think she's Kojima or Miyazaki.
I don't see how that makes it okay for you guys to act like she's garbage though...
A holiday in their honor??
What are you even talking about, bro??
@bearded
Why don't you actually explain why you dislike her then??
I don't want hype, I want an actual playable game.
If this BS is coming in 2020, then spend your money developing it instead of hyping it.
If it's coming in 2019, then show us actual GAMEPLAY and a reason to BUY it, instead of hyping it to the moon.
Do I really need to say this? I know gaming fanboys are bad, but this is unreal...
It would be complete BS if they don't show gameplay to their fans at gamescom.
They can impress "journalists" all they want, but gamers are the people buying the game.
SHOW them the game that they're buying!!
You guys might think the "hype is justified" just because CDPR is a good dev, but not me.
ME1-3 were great, but Andromeda was terrible.
I have hope in CDPR, but I'm not going to just ASSUME that their next game is incredible, despite seeing ANYTHING from the actual game.
Is this really what gaming has come to?
@granny
Well said, these childish "gamers" love to throw insults, despite the fact that they have zero good games to play...
How is he naive? Amy Hennig is an incredible game developer.
Why are so many people on this site hating on her? I don't get it.
The fact that you have so many disagrees is pretty concerning.
Great developers like her are what we need in the gaming industry, despite the fact that she's a woman.
Misogynists can be damned, because she is factually an incredible developer, and honestly, I'm going to buy whatever she's worked on, because she's that damn good.
Amy is a great developer, I don't understand why you have disagrees.
I guarantee that whatever she makes in the future will be a great game.
Edit: lots of salty Xbox fans downvoting, lmao
I love Amy too bro, but hating on her isn't the answer.
We should encourage her (and great developers like her) to continue making great games instead of selling out to the "games-as-a-service" model.
I don't know what you're saying, bro.
The veterans are the people that we need to continue making great games and franchises.
Amy Hennig hasn't had a lot of luck in the past couple years, but veterans like her are the people we need to make great games and franchises for the future.
@kun
My entire argument is that I DON'T want to play the game on the go, because that is the inferior way to play.
Did you really not understand that?
Of course it isn't going to perform like an Xbox or PS4, but that also means that people shouldn't pretend that it's the "best" version.
It absolutely has certain advantages like portability, but I don't know if that makes it the definitive "best" version.
I get what you're saying, Neon, but the whole "mobile-console" thing just isn't for me, personally.
I understand that a lot of people enjoy that though, so no hate from me.
Nobody at this point is denying that it's Sony's fault.
The argument is that Sony is VASTLY in the lead in sales, and it does nothing but hurt them to allow crossplay with Microsoft.
I don't necessarily agree with this practice, but I 100% understand why they're doing it.
I agree that crossplay with PS4 would be great, but at the same time, I was actually around in the 360-PS3 gen.
Microsoft denied crossplay with Sony for YEARS, and I honestly can't blame Sony for fighting back now that they're in the lead.
They're probably going to give in and allow crossplay, just for PR's sake, but it's hilarious how the tides have turned.
@michelle
That is such nonsense that I'm not even going to entertain it.
Everybody knows that sticks are better than motion controls, hence why motion controls have pretty much died as a whole.
Is it? I'll let you guys figure it out for me.
