Your are right but I think alot of people are expecting this release to push more consoles for both platforms. Most people believe that the PS3 will continue to out sell the 360 by the games release and the gap could be very large or could be about even (PS3 is the better guess). For the record I agree that Xbox has a better GPU, CPU. But Drakes was a 25gig game and MGS4 is a 50 gig game. I for the life of me don't understand why both companies put less than a gig of Ram in either console but it is the reason that this gen may end prematurely. I was looking at their lineup past Wii Fit and Mario Cart and nothing even tingles my sences. Then I watched the interview with Reggie on GameTrailers tv and it looks like there are not going to annouce there fall lineup till E3. which means that they will have about a 6 month window for when nothing blockbuster will even sniff the system. Fallout 3, I hear is RPG like, I am probably wrong on both fronts but I am not a big RPG fan. their is a rumor about a KH3 coming to PS3, maybe multi-plat, Either case I think the companies behind those titles are very reputable and owners of both consoles should be excited. Consider this too currently there is only 20% HDTV penetration in the U.S. so as HDTV's audience expands (predicted to be 35% by next year) then you will see a larger margin of HD consoles being sold. Nintendo is simply winning this "Gen" bc it is selling systems to 7 yr olds (Trust me I watch two of them open them on xmas morning). I have both Consoles and I am getting the PS3 version. Why? simple, My Live account is due to renew in May and Microsoft paid 50 mill for the extra content which means in August you will have to pay for the extra content through XBL. Indigo Prophecy would be #1 on my list, had it all! multiple endings, story and you get to laid! Can't complain with most on this list though.
