there shouldnt really be the question of "is sony afraid of microsoft". sony aint got $hit to prove. they have sold over 100 million units of both of their previous consoles and have delivered some of the best games we have ever seen over the years. they still and will probably hold the record of having the highest selling console ever for a long time, the ps2. people always moan about price and $hit but sony will give a price cut when they are good and ready!

this shows how hardcore the uk ps3 owners are. 2 million install base nearly kept up with a 3.5 million install base and ps3 even had killzone 2 just release a few weeks ago. also this just confirms that the ps3 version murdered the 360 one in all of europe. if the split is only 55/45 in the uk which is the 360's best market in europe then imagine the rest of europe.

well i would take the vgchartz europe numbers with grain of salt as they are completly made up. they adjust their numbers for japan and america when npd is released so they are ok there but overall they are off on console sales and game sales by alot. look at mgs4 for instance look at gta iv aswell. take two said 50/50 between the 2 console but not on vgchartz. to wrap it up, if your expecting accuarte numbers than vgchartz aint the place to go and if your trying to make a case about sales us...
