I bought it used at Funcoland, it cost me like $200. The ps1 had like just released and 3DO was on it's way out. I also had (and still have) an Atari Jaguar. I just really like games lol.
Never had a Neo Geo, it's still way too expensive for me.

I had a 3DO, it was actually a fun little game. The White Zombie soundtrack kicked ass too.

Don't play online, problem solved. Reach also has a (seemingly lengthy) SP campaign. I've had a 360 for 4 years, I think I only had xbl for 3 months out of that time.
Edit- I must be a complete anomoly this gen because I can live without online play. I've owned games for years that I've literally never even tried the online portion. I played Transformers online on ps3 for about an hour, that'll hold me over for a good 6 months. Psn is free and I still bare...
