The only way a platinum game won't be exclusive is if a major third party developer is paying them to work with their IPs (MGSR, Activision cheapies, Neir exclusivity is still undecided)
But If they want to do their own franchises or original games it looks like it has to be at least a console exclusive(Scalebound) thats only because MS is putting everything on PC.

Basic quests aren't really something you do then go out and do unless you really want the reward right away. Alot of the side quests have pretty good stories and characters tied to them Notcounting the recruitment quests.

Also witcher 3 is a bad example of a content rich world. It has a bunch of NPC you can talk todistract you from the fact that the gam about the monster slayer doesn't have much monster slaying or monster variety at all.
There is nothing like it because nothing that would be considered similar is as popular as pokemon, the social aspect is what makes it so unique and fact that you will always run into people playing it.

This was my only concern about the game.Its extremely unusual for a Nintendo game to have any major bugs at all, But Nintendo had no involvement with the game. Its really just the same as 80% of developers nowadays.
