@mikeslemonade, Technically my 2000$ PC will be last gen hardware in a few months. Must be taxing to upgrade every year since you don't play on old hardware.
Smash will live up to the hype, the ground game is already confirmed faster than melee.
I would more than mind, If WIIU SSMB didn't come out this year it would be because the 3ds version which i was never too fond of to begin with.

I think you mean the power of being linear. Optimization doesn't mean what it used to now that hardware is so familiar.

You realize the article is saying that the PS4 is weak/outdated but it doesn't matter because game quality is what matters, you get that right? also story > gameplay =cancer killing gaming.
i'm not saying those games were the best last gen, i don't believe they were the best games of last gen, that doesn't change the numbers though, i was only using the Galaxy games to prove a point that hardware =/= quality.
If you think the galaxy games are over-hyped that's fine, but most people don't, not just reviewers.

As a PC gamer i have to ask, was it ever? and as a Nintendo fan i agree, you don't need top hardware to have the best games. Look at Mario Galaxy, 1 and 2 are the highest rated exclusives of last GEN... all on 72MB of ram.
I just wish everyone would stop focusing on graphics and start focusing on gameplay.
That problem lies with COD, not Destiny. Destiny isn't getting low scores because it's not like COD, COD gets high scores because the COD bias. It doesn't affect other scores though.
3D world and a LBW both came out NOV 22 2013, so i could see Nintendo clumping Pokemon Ruby/Saphire with smash Bros for a NOV 21 2014 release.

maybe in 10 years destiny will have more content and more than a laughable 3 classes after having to shill out 40$ per yearly expansion pack LOL.
Destiny fails as an MMO for many reasons,
-Classes don't add enough variety
-no in game economy
-only 4 areas
-PVP is nothing you can't get from COD,HALO,Killzone or most shooters.
- space MMO yet no dogfights ...
