@biggCman a game having a story doesn't mean its mature, it doesn't mean anything as far the complexity or maturity of a game. let me ask you though,a video game series like Zelda that changes drastically in game play and artstyle every iteration has become stagnant to you, but a video game series that is literally the exact same gameplay/style every time but has a different story isn't stagnant?

This is the gaming industry now folks,to all the hardcore gamers out there(for lack of a better word) always remember we are no longer the target demographic. The masses who buy the games listed above is what the industry caters too now.

No one is talking about the story, they are talking about lack of information. as the author states people think not giving appropriate information makes the game hard, but in fact it just makes the game tedious. That is 70% of dark souls "difficulty" ,tedious artificial difficulty. I mean seriously no pause option even offline, that has to be one of the dumbest attempts to make a game difficult ive ever seen.
