It's not about the fact that they missed their projections.. it's about the fact that they are saying they missed their projections by 500K... that's not true.. they missed it by 2-3 millions... They were talking about Sales.. now now they are talking about Shipments... Why would they do that? Isn't that misleading?

Why people keep saying that the PS3 is not selling in Japan because there is no games? The PS3 and the 360 have better games than the wii. Wouldn't you agree? I don't think is about the games in Japan... I think the PS3 just like the 360 apeals more to the non-Japanese gamer. I mean, havent you see the games they like? I mean, look at the DS... I think more than 10-20% of the population purchased the DS to play one game (brain age)... how about the wii? Most people purchased it to play wiispo...

This is the price to pay for being the most use OS in the market. Pretty much every hacker's target is Windows... and trust me.. most of these hackers are very gifted and smart people... It requires a lot more brains and skills to reverse engineer and hack systems that were designed to be secured. Lucky for Mac an Linux (though they have security updates just like windows) that they are not the #1 target... just yet.
Why would you need this unless you want to cheat your way through the game... Ofcourse.. there are other uses like the ones mentioned here... I can always save the game on a memory card... and bring it to my friend... Can I copy saves between memory cards? I do agree that they should find a way to disable achivements if it was not made in that console.. but then again.. that may screw being able to go to my friend on a memory card and play for achivements.

After clicking here and there I installed a few of my development tools (i.e. Visual Studio.net 2005) and a few games.. and I started doing what I a PC is made for... only ignorants make a big deal of OS... and OS is there just to allow you to run programs and to link all the hardware to make that possible. the PC is microsoft platform. The same way that the PSP belongs to Sony... to make it fair then.. any exclusive that will be release for the PS2 or the PSP should be remove from the list of exclusives for the PS3. Many of these XBox360/PC games are being made for Live Anywhere and vista... Which means microsoft makes money. So, think of it this way.. maybe it helps you... XBox360/PC = Microsoft. PS3/PSP/PS2 = Sony.
