Why wouldn't be able to run on the wii? I am sure epic can come up with a stripped down wii version of it. A version that pushes less polygons and requires less horse power.. ofcourse it will not be able to do what the PS3 or 360 can do... but at least porting games to the wii will be a lots easier.

I don't think Sony or Microsoft care that Nintendo is winning. They can always come up with some game such as "test your ability to walk with the controller on your nose or aim potato so the midget can reach it..etc". No one forced you to buy crackdown. It's also a good way to control the volume of beta testers. For this game... how many people will be accepted? Obviously they will not be able to accept the entire PS3 installbase? Now would they? They can only process so many forms.. and on top of it... they dont want that many players. they need a controlled volume.
I'm not a Halo3 beta tester... I dont even own crackdown. as a software developers I know what betas are like... and that in many case...

Linux does not run on the PS3 out of the box.. Modifications need to be made to make it work.
A version of directx and windows can be licensed for the PS3 if Sony wanted to. Heck... my smart phone comes with Windows Mobile. heck... if hackers can run windows on the PSP... I am sure that the all mighty CELL can handle it.
Space... bla.. bla.. hardware this... and that... blu-ray... or wherever.. I leave that up to the fanboys to argue...

Now PS3 owners can experience pain while playing games.. as if it's not enough experiencing it when not having any games to play... Relax... I am just kidding... Games looks fun.
