You should see how Anti-Microsoft or Xbox 360 articles get... you can almost smell the burning bodies. If you are an Sony fan... just make sure you excercise taking a deep breath... Here is my question then. Asumming that all Sony fans are correct and the cell shouldnt be compared to a relatively "general-purpose" CPU since the PS3 have so many restrictions in terms of memory or what it can do as far as running OS and programs intended for "general-purpose" CPU. Can someone please tell me why Sony is being trying to hype the fact that the PS3 can run linux and it's a computer when it get's is @$$ handle by a old Power Mac G5 1.6GHz? Pure marketting? ...

More Sony bad press keep coming and there is no sign of stopping. I think if Microsoft really want to secure console domination they will do the following.
1) Bring Metal Gear and drop lots of money to konami to go as far as making it exclusive to the 360.
2) Do the same with Final Fantasy.
3) $100 price drop on all SKU.
I know this is retatively impossible(Not because microsoft does not have the cash... but because as Sony fans believe Konami and square ar...
For the same reason why everyone hated XP when it was released and then everyone endup buying it.. and now everyone is all over it saying that XP is great. LOL... I have Vista Ultimate at home on a new 64bit PC and I love it... it runs great. It does not support some old applications I need to run but I was expecting that so I kept my other PC around. Most of these issues will be resolved on the first service pack. Also, some people hate it because they would love to be able to upgrade to vis...
Anyways... I think Sony should pay close attention to what's going on.. and bring a price drop quick. Heck, if they drop the price by $200 I would probably buy one even before final fantasy or metal gear are released (1 year from now) just to play blu-ray movies and any games that may be worth buying. Come on Sony.... make my day!

I'm confused.. who are you flaming the PS3 or the 360? What's so bad about the PS3 that people rather to buy the 360 over and over eventhough they keep diying? We just had a meeting in the company I work to estimate how long we can hold before we are forced to upgrade to vista. It will cost us $560,000 to upgrade now, considering the fact that we would have to practically replace all the PCs. You want to know what the primary drive for companies to upgrade? Is not that they are using XP. but:
1) How long will microsoft support XP by releasing service packs, security updates, etc.
2) Is it worth spending money buying new...
Why shouldn't I complain? Final Fantasy not equal Sony as much as you Sony fanboys would love to portrait it. When my mom finally gave me a Nintendo back in 1987 and got me this game.... Playstation who!? Yes, that's right... Final fantasy was out before Microsoft or Playstation was around and will probably be after the last Playstation or xbox is released. That's the difference between being a gamer and a console lover. there is no disapointment when you follow the games and not the console....
That's interesting... you complain about xbox fans, "How you xbots think Mass Effect and Blue Dragon are gonna be the top dogs of 360. Blue Dragon did okay (at best) in japan" yet you piss on your pants when you see CGI or images of PS3 games. Yet xbox 360 can be excited about any upcomming games? Blue dragon is proven to be a good title.

It was the first FPS I grab on the Xbox 360 (yes I purchased it and gave it away). Not because it was a bad game... but because I couldnt get the controls down... after beating and playing the heck out of games like Battle Field, COD 2, COD 3 I finally feel like I can give Halo 3 a chance. I can tell you one thing...

Actually... I would. I would buy a PS3 for Final Fantasy or Metal Gear. I think each is worth $600 + Game. I've playing all versions of final fantasy and all major version of metal gear. Even if I they bring it to a console I dislike I would buy it just to play the games. I am a gamer not a console lover. If I like the games even if one I would pay it. Call me crazy... but only certain type of people (Sony Fanboys) purchase a system because of the specs or because they believe games WILL COME...
As a gamer I really hope their profits continue to be hit hard. That should teach them a thing or two about not mixing love with business. They always loved Sony and regarless of installbase they decided to give nothing to the 360 while the developers that decided to support the 360 are making money.
I love square and I will follow final fantasy to wherever platform they go. But, I shouldn't be force to buy another console to play their games. I say burn! not completely... but burn eno...
