Do you think is microsoft fault? if microsoft does not enforce these restrictions, movies/tv studios would not put their content on the marketplace since it would just simply hurt them intead of helping them. Mod for how long? Do you know how many people got banned on halo 2 and the xbox was easy to hack? Reporting a hacker or a cheater it will be enough to get him banned. or better yet... I love that feature on the 360 that allows you to avoid a player. If someone cheats that's all I have to do. They can mod away, it does not affect me.
The problem with ubi is that most of their games are not AAA. They need a very large intallbase if they want to make some serious money. Ubi needs an installbase of a least 40 Million to break even on their worst IPs. How come companies like Epic arent complaining? AAA titles do not need a huge installbase Ubi does.
