Bathyj, how is that possible? XBox 360 owners/fans for the most parts either own a Playstation or used to. For most of them the 360 is not the first console they owned. If anything they used to be Playstation fans. I am one of those. I will also eventually own a PS3; but for now I am prioritizing what I buy first based on the console that has more to offer today.

It's not that the PayStation 3 is a bad console, but just like the Mercedes it's has it's targeted to a very specific group of people.
Someone that has money and it's 100% loyal to the brand and it's not willing to try other brands.
This game does look like fun. But I think they still need to polish it a bit more. I saw some lag but it may be just me. Also, there is no animation while entering or exiting a vehicle. Unlike COD3 where you see the character opening the hatch and going in this game magically trasport the character into and out of the behicle (I call that being lazy as developer). Also, they may want to try more than one explotion animation for behicles they all explote the same way regarless of where or how ...

Before Sony can drop the price of the console they have to be profitable. And though this is a good step toward that direction it will take more than reducing cost on one component out the hudreds the PS3 has. Also, dropping the price too soon is a sign of weakness on their part, so they will not do it at least for 2 years.

Really! Do you think everyone is a video game fan? Most people even the ones that probably own a PS3 and 360 have no Idea the PS3 hasn't launch in Europe of else where. People in the US are not sitting around waiting for it to launch in europe before making their purchase here. These numbers reflect how the consumer feel about the PS3. Unless Sony do something and these numbers they are doom to be last this gen at least in the US.

It's problem that Nintendo's thunder storm is in dangerous of slowing down. They need more noice so they attack other companies such as microsoft. Nintendo should go back to the drawing boards and focus on trying to convince people why they should buy a wii instead of a 360 after the soon to come xbox 360 price drop.
