my PS3 at around the last week of March, and by the sound of it, Flow pretty much 'add' into the collector's package for the next-gen. I absolutely love some of the amazing downloadables that are already available including,
-GT: HD
-GripShift
-Tekken DR
-Mortal Kombat 2
and
-Flow
The 5 above titles pretty much make up a whole game bought, and they do deliver on that. I Don't think I'm gonna give anyone of them up !
Really stunning. This one is a major upheavel in the already stunning lineup of PS3 exclusives so early after launch. If you look at the lineup around the end of May, i.e. around 6 months after PS3 launch...
-MotorStorm
-Resistance
-Virtua Fighter 5
-Fight Night Round 3
-Oblivion
-Lair
...you see there is insane diversity of genres and immensity of production level. All titles are huge and just around readdily available within ...
It appears believable that this is possibly in-game screenshot. Two of the current-gen games and on PS2 at that...have been considered as next-gen games by critics and fans alike. They are god of war 2 and FF-XII. Just walk through a city of FF-XII and you'll understand what Square Enix was capable to deliver on PS2, a 7 years old hardware. And God knows how long it has been that they are working with CELL and RSX. They are making a brand new engine for this game called the 'White Engine' ! t...
Wow ! I bet TheMART is wishing he never had said those things to DJ in the first place about downloadable armour HaHaHa, but yeah anything can be expected out of a fanboy like him. Nothing was ironic you know. Man, next-gen has arrived, its only 3 months out and difficult to work upon and MS' transitional technology has already showing signs of ...you know...being 'TRANSITIONAL' HeeHeeHee !
When the gameworld is a sandbox(GTA-like), every viewable object and building on-screen is manipulatable...destructible, every vehicle is drivable including tanks, helicopters and even civilian cars, every event is driven through true physics and gameplay contains just about right fun factor of pick-up-and-play.......then mere visuals don't get the first priority.
You must have not played the original Mercenaries. It came in Jan. 2005, and by the standards of that time its vis...
In Japanese consumers' minds, 360 is nothing but a games machine, the only charm the system has is with games, which by the way are basically not upto standards...not even LOST PLANET and BLUE DRAGON that sold under 100,000 each. When xbox was launched in Japan, DOA-3 sold 260,000+ xboxes on the day it was released(I think a launch title) well VF4 didn't do anything substantial on PS2 because it was among 'many' other great games. So DOA-4 doesn't even start to reach the impact of DOA-3 in th...
MS fanboys have always kept touting about how difficult the PS3 is to program for and just as only 3 months later a dev confirms it, they say "oh it wasn't that difficult, it just can't do it !!" HaHaHa, the entire world of Oblivion takes 16 X 16 miles area. Average environments in Lair are each 32 X 32 and most of the places are tangible with ar$e-bursting level of gameplay, number of on-screen individuals, physics and out of this world procedural synthesis. When that game doesn't ...
Next-Gen = HDMI + More-Disc-Storage + Motion-Control + HDD
.......end of story !!!
...the above comments are. No offense to the rest of America. American folks are great as a nation, the leadership is worldwide approved. In the field of gaming, 40+ million PS2s alone are living proof of that !!!
Wow !!! even after PS3 sold twice as much in 2 months than what 360 couldn't accomplish in over a year...I bet the desperate american is trying to catch a stick before he drowns of shame out of humiliation...HaHaHa !!!
As only PS3 and 360 are the only next-gen machines and Wii is current-gen as Nintendo theirselves declared it as is, so as PS3 has sold ways ahead of 360 in Japan already and even MS thinks that Japanese market is the most important one, so PS3's victory has already started !!!
as only PS3 and X360 are the only next-gen machines out there, and PS3 has sold twice as 360 in only 7 weeks as 360 has sold in 55 weeks, such a shame for MS, they couldn't make it this time too. Hah !!!
... and you know that. As Reggie himself declared at E3 to the press that if you're here for next-gen, this isn't the place...so why the f**k are you implying that Wii is next-gen ? Wii is only 3 times powerful than PS2. In this way...
...and Wii isn't. In the next-gen consoles comparison, PS3 is superbly ahead of 360 as it has been sold almost twice as much units in only 7 weeks of its launch as 360 has sold in 55 weeks...such a shame. PS3 IS THE CLEAR VICTOR as a NEXT-GEN machine.
Wii is not a next-machine, as Nintendo itself has called it a current-gen machine, only three times powerful than PS2 and with newer outlook on gaming. In the current-gen comparison, obviously, both DS and Wii has sold the best th...
...Japanese version review there. I was not expecting such remarks from a European site as they try to 'find' things to bash a PS3 game. Its obvious that MotorStorm has convinced them of its edge. Even gamer.tv can't bash it. When online mode and all other fortune-load of features will be included inthere, its pretty sure to get a 9 rating...even from the UK based site that is. It really feels strange to say but thanks Cerula !
...the level xbox enjoyed in 2001 in Japan. DOA3 had 250,000 xbox units sold. This time, Blue Dragon has around 40,000 and now Lost Planet around 20,000. Keeping history in mind, its crystal clear that 360 is far from getting popular.
Moreover, you say 'seeing the light'...Hmmm !, see for yourself, that by light you mean japanese games alone, because really, Both Blue Dragon and Lost Planet are really great games on the 360. They're coming over a whole year later and not beyond an...
PS2, a 6 years old machine sold almost euqlly as 360 this year, maybe even better. For even without a next-gen competition, 360 has sold around 8 mill. as of yet.
If you new in gaming and want a system that has the biggest industry standard titles, largest collection in each genre, very very inexpensive, has Wii like games, plays DVD movies like 360 and much more, then PS2 is your system.
If you want to go next-gen and keep all the above thing and add a fortune-...
360 games doen't even stand besides PS2 games and you're talking PS3. Hah, PS2 is pretty much alive and as much part of the competition. I guess you forgot about the current systems for original xbox is long dead now, and the industry standards are still coming to PS2 even in the 2007 as well. So, have a life man, when 360 crosses the PS2's charm(if it did) then we'll start talking about PS3.
"We look forward to playing the real version of Motorstorm early next year, and, based on the preview provided by the Japanese version, fully expect it to be one of the finest racing experiences ever."
...and by all means the Sony's ongoing living system PS2 is already having the industry top right now, I guess the next great machine still has some finishing issues to address to. And by all aspects there are only a month of launch the PS3 has seen. Its great that alongwit...
