...it had no competition as a next-gen DVD medium. Blu-ray came out a
year later and is thoroughly outselling HD-DVD. Its a great feat.
360 fanboys say that its because PS3 is boosting its sales, well,
wasn't that obvious from day1, who said Toshiba to face Sony in DVD
format ? Blu-ray was a clear victor on day 1, its only 6 months PS3
launched and there aren't many games around, when there will be games,
more PS3s will be sold, which means more Bl...

While the biggest attraction for me is going to be 'Killzone 2' at
E3, I think several other MIAs have their attract values as well.
8-Days, Cellius' titles, Getaway, Nioh, Fatal Inertia and that new
horror interactive CG game by Sega...all have their expectations intact. I just hope they bring back 5th Phantom Saga !

...delayed to March'08 due to addition of this feature. That's just awesome news(I know I'll be tracked by some here HeeHeeHee!!!). You know how 'HAWT' will GT5 play now...also that its a great addition to face-off PS3-hating press who was thinking that: "yeah, we'll cut some numbers down from PS3 game-reviews by saying that the experience was low due to lack of rumble", well they can't do it now HaHaHa !!!

1. First of all gog, you yourself are comparing Halo-3 with Halo-2, showing how much you yourself feel they are alike. Compare Halo-3 with Unreal Tournament 3 which has the same genre, more vehicles, more weapons, same production time, same machine and I'm sure better physics. And I know that you totally know how pathetic Halo-3 will look in front of it. To make it easy for you, yes Halo-3 isn't much better than Halo-2. There is just about no upgrade in gameplay. Its the same experience on a ...

...best representation of anti-aliasing when it was released. I got to thoroughly play it in Jan-2005. Yes, the content was not fulfilling, the stages were limited with very little accessible places but a very pretty draw-distance. Experience-wise, I had already played several very next-gen games already from DMCs, Jak, MGS3 to Onimushas and GTAs so Halo-2's experience was nothing more than playing Quake3Arena or Unreal Tournament all over again, no story, monsters or depth, just brainless sh...

I mean, why would Ubi do that ?

They are some of the most pointless devs out there, yeah yeah I know their version of Prince of Persia rocks but its really strange(although great to think about !) to know if Haze goes PS3 exclusive...what is Ubi doing ? are they just trying to compensate with Sony for what they did with Assassin's Creed's exclusivity...are they trying to get back on track with Sony ? I mean when Devs are exchanging exclusives, like NG:Sigms or DMC4, what is Ubi...

Each next-gen iteration I sit infront of my PC watching for volumetric
enhancements done on assets, they are really very few. Most of the
things are just 'paint/texture' on flat surfaces.
We all know that:

-The advancement is only when something reaches out more for the
realization of 'Virtual Reality', rather than flat screen mirage.
-For this we need physics based programming to capture the realistic
feel more.
-For that a ...

I'm sure all of you have seen the movie "The Road To El-Dorado"...
Its an animated flick with a great song by Sir Elton John !

Just thought to bring that up as Drake is also venturing to find that
fabled city of gold, "El-Dorado", and test his fortune at it. The
screens above depict nothing less than an insane joyride of a Steven
Spielberg movie. The jungle, the water, the mystery, the multi-genre
gameplay all sum up to an...

...are like they're straight out of a CG flick ! Superb !!!

32X32 miles a stage is just humongous...its like twice the world of Oblivion, that was 16X16 km. !

You know folks !, the "fur" on those soldiers' clothing is all rendered in real time just as it was in Shadow of the Colossus...they might be the cavalry belonging to those frost-breathing 'ice dragons' we saw in the earlier trailers.

Xbox360=Desperate for Market-Share after 5.2 billion xbox loss
PS3=An advantage with already healthy and living PS2 & PSP

Xbox360=9.71 mil. in 1.5 years without competition
PS3=3-4 mil. in 6 months with full competition(Its already better!!!)

We live in Chaotic Times my friends.

Microsoft is 'buying' exclusives(Thinking the 7-yrs old PS2 stretegy)
Sony is helping cure cancer(And showing the raw CPU power)

...This game doesn't look bad at all, especially when its being only
an online one. As in the post# 1.1, its been shown that the game is
just within 4-5 months' work stages. While Halo-3 has been in works
for over 1.5 year...and a 1st party title...and also a big online
game...and a crucial one at that.......Halo-3's visuals are not even
close to being next-gen. Infact, a comparison some time earlier showed
that its only a texture swap over that ...

Need I say more ???!!!

Anyway, I know I've posted this link before but yeah where can
you find such a game on earth, this game that puts most of / maybe
all of the next-gen incarnations to shame...all of those bulky PCs with
their insanely expensive 3D cards to grave...

everything next-gen from 'self-shadowing' to 'motion-blur',
from 'depth-of-field' to 'HDR'...without...

shine in its own light, and watching the original Loco Roco and the
LBP demontration pinches me convincingly that a physics based engine
made from the linkage of this BAFTA award winning PSP title will
make yet another solid and appealing face inline the next-gen delight,
that is Little Big Planet !!!

Some of the most photorealistic, CG-like and beautiful
visuals aside, something much more impressive that is clear from
the first presentation was that the game is fully and truly
physics based:

"PHYSICS":
-When you make a character, just joining a head, a torse and 2 arms
and legs enable ragdoll...COOL!!!

-The game fully features material physics, lighting and element
characteristics. If you make a cube of s...

I'm just no longer in doubts about 360. Its just not the machine I've been hoping to keep my eyes on. It not the above article that has rendered me so but the overall quality of games. 360's games are just traditional in every aspect. If the visuals are superb...the gameplay, physics and nuances are old-gen(Gears), if physics is good the visuals are straight ugly or past-gen(Forza-2, Halo-3). I mean there isn't anything that makes you say WOW.

So, why I'm saying this on THIS ar...
