I've just seen the metacritic... They only had to make it and distribute...
WTF !? How on hell did Sir Jim Sterling liked a PS4 exclusive that is a sequel (or prequel)!? Now I'll have to buy it...
Exactly, this speech is only to try to soften the blows they are taking right now.
Nintendo doesn't know how to communicate and it has in a way doomed the Switch. Since the first trailer Nintendo has presented the Switch as a home console that turns into a mobile console. People are seeing it as a replacement to the WiiU. Because of that people are comparing it to the WiiU. People are looking at the games on the Switch and not seeing the evolution in graphics when compared with the WiiU. So the console looks like being expensive. If it would have been presented has a mo...
@3-4-5 You haven't play the Ps4 much haven't you. Killing Zone, one of the first Ps4, allowed you to play the game while installing it.
You seriously need to try and play other games in other consoles besides the WiiU.
Sequels are always worse then the first movie... The Switch is doomed!!!!
You can also scratch of the Switch altogether, no real exclusive games until summer...
The WiiU sold out too... The PS4 sold out too... But the end was not the same...
Doesn't mean squat.
And most of the exclusives they have are sequels of sequels of sequels...
This is not a cartridge, this is a memory card, just like a SD card or a hard-drive. This doesn't translate into no loading. If that was the case, then every game put in a hard-drive wouldn't have any loading...
The only detail I know, they will give you one NES/SNES game per month, that you will be able to play during that month. After that, it is gone.
To use party chat, you'll need to download an payed application on your smart-phone... So yeah.
No price has been released on how much it will cost per month... But still, doesn't seem to be the best service unless it's very very cheap.
I think people are writing this with nostalgia in their heads.
The truth is, that there is more media, more competition, more different players. Because of that, it's harder and harder to please everyone. I remember when magazines had grades that went from 1 to 20 or 1 to 5 or ETC, but grades never went under 3 quarters of the maximum grade which was ridiculous. Some games didn't deserve to be considered games.
You are all forgetting From Software ! Demon Souls and Bloodborne !!! Oh wait, they aren't Sony studios...
What!??? My wallet won't survive these next 4 month, but they have still more games to release !?!?
I might be forced to get a second job now !
Thank God Sony didn't have the same mind set with The Last Guardian.
You guys forgotten Metalgear Revengeance! These guys worked for/with Hydro Kojima that is a tyrant perfectionist and delivered an great game! They ha e worked with almost everyone in the business, following every demand, budget and type of people and managed to deliver. Even if the game didn't ended up to be great, it never felt has it was unfinished or was buggy. Not to be able to deliver a game for MS speaks very loudly about on how MS deals with their partners.
Oups, just answered to myself.
It's actually pretty bad. Look at platinum portfolio. They have worked with Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft, making exclusives and multiplateforms. Even if the results were not equal, some of their works being better than others, they always delivered the game. It's only now, when they were working in an MS, that they had a game cancelled!
This is a big sign, it doesn't matter what MS is saying for damage control.
Platinum are veterans, and do good, very good games...
If what you are saying is true, than Tekken 7 is cursed too.
Gimmicks of that time didn't went very far. They were like curiosity between the releases of games. Mario Paint came at the end of the life cycle of the console. It's the destiny of most of gimmicks in every system.
When you go back playing in consoles of that time, you usually end up playing Mario Kart in the Snes with a normal controller. It's the same thing with Mario Kart in the WiiU. None uses the all so great motion controlers...
