Im not sour about anything. And no its not the same. While the US is home to microsoft sony has had and will always have a big market share here. Xbox has never and will never have a big marketshare in japan. Hence me saying it is Sonyland. Xbox has always been non existant there. Agreed. I will never understand why people care so much which console other people like more. And especially which one sells more. I could careless about all that and all the resolutiongate crap. I like my xbox one thats all that matters to me

Finally someone who understands economics. Its not about the number of consoles each one sells, Its about how much money they are making from the consoles. Especially when you get to the later years where they have to sell the units at a loss to remain competitive.
Competition is good for markets. It forces different companies to come up with new ideas. If Sony was the only console on the market because Xbox and Nintendo tanked Sony would have no incentive to do anything different or innovate at all. Because they are the only console left and people are gonna buy it no matter what.
Its out pacing the 360 sales and its at a 500 dollar price point. How exactly is it in trouble again??
Again my point being it may be way too early to tell. PS4s strong sales may be due to the fact that they are more willing to adopt early. Especially here in the US. Their sales cannot/will not keep up at this pace. Its just facts.

I disagree I think they are extremely brand loyal. Read most of the comments on this article and that alone will tell you how loyal their fans are. Its not about whats cheaper its about showing value. Better is subjective and if you see value in something more expensive you will buy it

I use it everyday and I love it. I think its great and really effective. I hate blanket statements like this. Just because you don't like it and wouldn't use it automatically means nobody likes it and noone is using it
I know I will get killed on here for this but maybe the Sony install base is just more willing to adopt to next gen right now than the 360 install base. Maybe the smaller price tag makes it easier for them to jump in early. I have tons of friends who are all going to get the xbox one they are just waiting for a reason. AKA Titanfall or a price drop. Agreed way to early for a price cut. I'm expecting it to sell minimum 7 million by years end. And I think that would be a solid first year for them. Not Sony numbers but still solid
