I bought day one xbox one. I don't feel like I am suffering any "effects". I knew going in that eventually there would be a price cut or that the UK was getting a free game with it. Having a console that I enjoyed for the last 4 months is worth more to me than the 60 free game
agreed I love the integration with it. The majority of people who are voicing their opinions on it probably have never even tried it
I agree my kinnect 1 sat and collected dust. Kinect 2.0 is great and I cant imagine why people would unplug it.

I actually would have preferred their original idea. I was on board. People are scared of change. Everything is going digital microsoft was just trying to help the industry move to the future.
I find it very hard to believe that they had an entire page on their own website describing in detail that you can do this for it to be just an "accident" I think they wanted to make an announcement about it in march and some dumb dumb leaked it too fast
