Of coarse it is a gimmick. Its not different than the kinect. Only this time its not bundled with a console and probably at a 400 dollar price point
How is Vr not a gimmick and Kinect is again? People won't spend 100 bucks on the Kinect but are willing to throw 400 bucks on a VR set just because of the label on it?
I find it really odd that alot of playstation fans say the Kinect is a gimmick and would never spend 100 bucks on it. Especially with no games to show it off. But how many people here are willing to throw 400 bucks at it already without even seeing it

Edit: Ive seen ps4s in the best buy and walmarts here in California. Havent been to target and not really hunting for them either. But they are in stock. So no they aren't sold out "everywhere". Majority of places yes
