So it goes from .001% to .003% for legendary drop rates? Kidding, sort of. Better late than never I guess.
@Oldmess
Very well said. You hit it out of the ballpark with your analysis.
@Nonspco
I really appreciate your post + bubble. It's puzzling to me too. Ever since I bought the Vita I have been playing it daily! Terraria, Muramasa, Dead Nation, Borderlands 2, Rayman Legends (best version side by side with the Wii U), Dragon's Crown, the telltale games (gives us a chance to re platinum Walking Dead and Wolf Among Us, the PS1 library and it goes on and on.
It reminds me of the Wii U in the sense that there are several great titles...
I think Nintendo fans care about online games as much as the next gamer. It's not like Nintendo fans don't own other systems. As a Nintendo fan I spent hundreds of hours playing Borderlands 2 on the PS3 and I also competed quite a bit in Mario Kart online. I think you are generalizing.
And the Kiddy argument in getting old. Look at the trailers of Nintendo games since the 90's--there have been plenty of adult in the commercials. Just because the game is intended t...
It's so bizarre to me that anyone would rank Mass Effect 1 as the best of the series. It has it's strong points: Better pure rpg elements, good story, great cast of characters and lots of weapons and customization. But the missions are repetitive and tedious. The environments are bland with an extreme overuse of the same textures. And the gameplay is by far the worst of the three.
Despite Mass Effect 2 & 3 losing some of it's core rpg conventions, the improve...
Sounds interesting.
I love the way you think!!!
I really don't play very many tablet games. A little solitaire every now and then. I play my PS3, PC and Vita daily and plan on getting a PS4 next.
But playing devil's advocate, is it out of the realm of plausibility to connect a tablet with higher than 1080p capability to a TV and use a wireless controller to play games? I use my Nook HD Plus to watch Game of Thrones on HBO Go all the time.
If there were good games available I would use a setup like ...
Walking Dead, Terraria (Vita), for me. I can't believe the Mass Effect Trilogy is only 5 bucks. I just bought the original for 20 two weeks ago.

Why don't you make a patch that will allow all ps2 games from the psn store playable on the Vita?
Meh is right.
Great list. I've played all of these except Y's, but I used to watch my brother play it. Those were the days. Kids just liked video games back that no matter what platform they were on. I've must have beaten Contra dozens of times with my friends back then. And the original Mega Man was super hard.
And the original Final Fantasy was my introduction into RPG's. So many good memories.
I liked Skies of Arcadia so much that I named my cat Vyse. The old bugger is still with me.
An HD remake on the Vita would be awesome.
Wolf Among Us $9.99 for the Vita? I already own it on the PS3, but I think I'll pick it up for some on the go gaming anyway.
Well said. I feel the same way. Video game journalism is full of a bunch of whiny sissies. The focus on the negative seems to always trump over what's positive. I wish people could just stop being the critic and sit back and enjoy a game. This series is very entertaining.
I don't look at the Wii U tablet as an innovation. Nintendo's console pattern has always been revolution: evolution. In other words they innovate than build upon the innovation. NES (revolution)-SNES (Evolution). N64 (Revolution)-Gamecube (Evolution). Wii - Wii U same pattern. Wii U was a stop gap console that built upon Wii and DS control principles in order for them to catch up to HD gaming conventions. All my opinion of course.
Point being, I think NX should be an...
This is scary. In 2011 they had a "27 billion market cap and 14 billion in unencumbered cash." This is not a sizeable safety net and anyone who thinks it is has not been paying close enough attention to Nintendo's finances. Do the math.
Just shows how naive people are when they think Nintendo can survive forever because of their war chest. They have lost more money than anyone expected in just a few years.
I want Nintendo to stick around, but I...
Actually there are relatively very few PS3 games you can play on the Vita. All your other points are sound, but don't spin the facts.
