etownone, ure right but since blu-ray is going to be the new standard for movies, do you not believe that there will eventually be one in almost everyones house in a few years? xbox will def sell a few more mill wen the price drops, but the ps3 will come close and possibly some day surpass it if no other formats arise
Sony played this absolutely perfectly some ppl might disagree but not coming out with alot of games and pushing blu-ray movie sales and causing block buster and other companies to side with them is just ingenious! i mean its scummy but they planned it perfectly, blu-ray is all but won and games are coming out very soon and instead of every1 buying a blu-ray player, y wuoldnt they just buy a ps3 for almost the same price... these asianz are smart cookies man!

razer if you read some past articles, microsoft claims that it will not support blu-ray or have a blu-ray add on in the future, they want to get rid of discs all together
i agree.. harrison is very personable, very interesting, and just seems like he really wants believes in his product, i for one enjoy watchin clips of him, i dont see 2 many other PRs givin as many interviews as he does
did u ever think of this... if they lower the price right now not many will be buying a ps3 because of the lack of game library, why wouldnt they keep the price as is for a few more months after games start to come and see how they the ps3 is selling then... if need be sony will lower the price if they still arent selling

although i dont agree completely because i mean the update for genji will be totally different but u have a great point that would people really buy a game if it was $75 even if it had a few more episodes wen u can buy the $60 version for a lil bit less content... with downloaded content microsoft really disguises the fact that your pay a shytload of money for this game but i guess its nice to have the option but still if i had a 360 i dont think i would buy the additional content for a total...
acheivments boost the longevity of games which is good in most cases but i dont want to waste my time tryin to get an acheivment that is going to just be boring to me

yea I wish sony had spent an additional 50 mill on GTA because i know for sure that they would do it for free... if microsoft does it without a fee then im happy for all 360 owners but my guess is that they will make over 40 mill of it back by making 360 owners buy it at $5 or more dollars a pop and they may even charge more so in a sense microsoft isnt paying for it their consumers are
the wii hype has been faded after everyone got sick of wii sports its alrdy faded.. id pick one up for my girlfriend or my neices but having a ps3 id rather jus play old ps2 and ps1 games which are basically wat the wii is offering.. old fun games that u play a few times and put it back in the closet
