sorry, but i had to disagree based on 1 premise: what you just wrote is unreasonable. do you really see all of that as "problems" that the ps3 suffers from? if so, perhaps you shouldn't own one if you are that dissatisfied. and i would say the same if it was about the 360 or wii. anyone who has that kind of issues with a product maybe should look for something else.

it's gonna have to be really good now. i didn't have any other games to buy in august and this was going to be the one i got. now, with, LBP coming in sept. and bioshock in oct. plus the "quest for booty" on psn happening "soon" according to insomniac; so, BIA:HH. doesn't look to be a purchase for me now. they had aug. pretty much to themselves and, with all the other great games coming in the future, gearbox may have made a big mistake.
i really don't need this. i use my pc for that stuff. now if "quest for booty" or "home" would be out by the end of the month.....i'm there.

i agree with #1, the violence is just too cartoony. it doesn't look overly violent - it looks over the top slapstick. and i don't think it fits in with the seriousness of the apocalyptic setting. this comedic approach to the violence seems cheesy to me. if i want this i can buy the last soldier of fortune game.

with the rag-doll physics being used in this game i'd say it's "death-porn" as well. those physics being used when someone is shot is off the charts. i mean, they look different every time someone is shot. how many diff. animations do they have? amazing!
maybe they had cliffy b from epic do the legs.
what's going on in 360 games far into the background? nothing....i think.....on gears 2 i can't tell what's going on in background- draw distance is poor and foggy.

first, e8t bit: i don't think you can expect "agrees on a thread for sony when you talk about liking ms.(or the other way around) also, gears2 (like resistance 2) i don't think will move lots of consoles. part 1 of each would have been the game to sell to new customers. think about it, what new buyers are going to get a system for part 2 of a game when the first one didn't convince them?

1 demos: i don't play half of the demos on psn now. and i only play the bigger release demos anyway. live does usually get multi-plat demos 1-2 weeks sooner but that isn't a big deal to me.
