i'll agree about the "no-name" sites. but this is happening with all reviews now......where are these sites coming from and why are they recogized. i can't believe they get hits on a regular basis. i will say this: you do realize the highest score for this game (93/100) has come from a greek site which is one of those questionable, little sites? so your conspiricy theory doesn't hold up.

i'm big enough to say i'm wrong. i said in another thread that OXM would give this an 8 at least. and that's not true. with their record of handing out 8+ to games this one must have some negatives. still, if you liked the demo; buy the game. that's what i do.(nobody should base purchases solely on reviews) reviews shouldn't matter so much.
halo 1 was a classic game.......but halo 2, 3.....not as good. and dyack seems too arrogant to listen to criticism.

why would sony bring a new console out in '11? they don't need to with the ps3. the 360......that's another story. because of the hardware defect issues, dvd9 format, and lack of universal HDD support; ms may be forced to launch a new console sooner rather than later. but if ms does launch another console, sony will drop the ps3 price. combine that with blu-ray movie playback and ms looks to be in difficult situation.
that's either dedication or obsession. whatever it is; go buy this game, cause you obviously enjoy it.
agreed. it isn't my cup of tea but some of the games i play i'm sure others don't like. play this if it interests you cause that's what gaming is about.
no offense, but i'd hardly call IGN giving this game a 7.8 a "love it" score. the scores for this game seem to range from "ok" to "lacking". but i understand your wanting to spin the reviews. i personally play games i want to play regardless of reviews. so anyone who has an interest in TH should enjoy it regardless of what others (reviewers or anyone else) say.

no, GOW2 was a continuation of story.(and a good story at that) plus, kratos wasn't fighting the same enemies. gears1 story was non-existant. it was a fun game but where does gears2 go now? if they can establish some kind of story, great but for now it's "wait and see". no compariso between the 2 series though.

i'll be curious to see how many of the "hundreds of locusts onscreen at once" act independantly of the rest. in the first trailer they didn't. and they looked like they were there for show more than anything.

HS was lots of fun. loved the cross-bow segments and bosses. it was just a little short and the story could have had more background info.
