second, bring back all the old hosts that the "new" G4 got rid of: tina wood, laura foy, christian holt, geoff keighlly, diane masota. get these great gaming hosts back. also, for tech, try to get sarah lane back.
THEN, G4tv might be worth watchinig again.
really bogus list.
hurry up, nov. 4!
have fun with "too human" and NG2. gears2 will be good but, really, it's just more of gears1. so, what's left for the 360 this year? fable 2 and banjo?.......uh,yeeeeeah, i'll take MGS4, resistance2, MS:PR, LBP this year over the 360 line-up.
bubbles for you.
i'm not sure making a ps3 with no blu player is possible.....is it? if it came with a standard dvd drive; how would you play games that are on a blu-ray disc?
no matter though, even if they had a cheaper "360 like" console, i'd buy the more expensive version to get the blu movie playback as well. i own around 25 blu movies. and i'm drooling over getting "the dark knight" in december.
people breaking down individual textures is really nit-picking.
i had fun with the demo too....and that's what it's all about.
1. go to the library....they should have hi-speed internet available. take a flash drive and download the patch onto the flash - go home and upload it to the ps3 and bioshock.
2. if that doesn't work, find someone who has a ps3 online - take your copy of bioshock to their house and download the patch onto the game.
hopefully, one of those works.
ted price said (in an interview a couple weeks ago) that they aren't trying to create "realism" in the games they make. i wasn't aware realism = good looking game?
oops! i guess 360 fans don't like it when their logic is used against them.
give me a "28 days" game with zombies like that.
now that would be SURVIVAL horror.
and dead space is looking pretty horroriffic.
so if you're saying KZ1 was bad.....then 360 exclusives haven't been so hot this year, huh?
pretty sweet!
but i'm looking forward to home for all the game developers support of home through special rooms for different games. uncharted, warhawk, and resistance are supposed to have their own rooms. i'm hearing there will be many other devs doing the same. if this is true....it's what's got me jazzed the most.
whoever did the video didn't know what they were doing......looked like "timmy" from southpark was handling the video recorder.
it clearly states this is a very early build.....i think it's good we even get a look at it this early. there is no making some people happy.
characters in gears are too comically large to be considered "realistic".
oh, and KZ2 is looking so cool. the ambient sounds of battle in the distance, the smoke drifting around the battlefield, the tracer trails that rockets are leaving, the upgrading of new missions on the fly, sounds of weapons close up......there is just so much awesomeness here!
you've never given resistance a "chance" before.....why would anyone expect you to give it a fair look now?
do agree on farcry though - first one had issues. i'd like to think they got them worked out. i'll rent before i buy.
good idea,sony....lets keep as many people out of home as possible. (end sarcasm)
message to sony: home is imp. to you. you've been touting it for well over a year and it's supposed to be free.....just let everyone who wants to try home into the beta!! how hard a concept is that? i love my ps3 but this "jump through hoops" idea in order to get into betas is stupid.
we have to pay for the challenge rooms? funny, for months the devs made it sound like this content would be on the disc when purchased. i've already paid for the game but i think i'm switching the money to dead space.
2k should have been honest enough to tell everyone in the previews that to get the extra content.....you have to pay EXTRA MONEY. what a joke.
