All good man, I understand a knee-jerk reaction to ANYTHING that sounds close to promoting bad business practices. I don't want to sound like I'm giving Cap a pass, and perhaps I should have worded my comment more appropriately to reflect that.
I'm simply voicing my opinion of this review score, guy. Please point to where I "defended these practices." All I'm saying is that I BELIEVE a 2-2.5 would be a more suitable score for a game that has great mechanics and runs well. I'm talking about the review...
I agree that this is completely unacceptable, so your comment is confusing to me.
Because what's there is a very high quality game. Anything under a 2/5 in my eyes represent not only a bad game, but a broken one at that.
Strange score.
It's a pretty underground type of thing for those unfamiliar with fighting game culture, easy to overlook I suppose. I reckon if Capcom were more transparent about it they wouldn't be getting the backlash they are now. It's understandable, but their communication was piss poor.
I remember SF4 not launching in the best state either. Capcom needs to show more respect to their franchises.
They wanted to get it out in time for the Capcom tournament.
Instead of getting a FULLY fleshed out and hugely expanded multiplayer, we'll be getting some decent improvements with a cool 6 hour campaign.
Thanks, guys, really.
Name a game that's like it and I'll wait aaalll day. And don't say Division or Borderlands, I will laugh at you.
"Kind of,"
That was your impression, and you took away what you did. Do I blame you? No. But the prospect of this sprawling open world with character interaction/dialogue choices, world-effecting consequences, and heavily RPG-rooted features was never touted. This expectation was a product of insurmountable hype.
Bungie never once tried sell to Mass Effect: Halo.
Kids on N4G are the biggest Destiny haters on the net, and I can guaruntee that they're terrible in the Crucible almost every single time. This game is not Mass Effect, stop thinking it's supposed to be.
Yo, why are all these people like going off on these senseless analytical trances - that NOBODY is going to want to read!?......... XD
When Rook is active, DOC is the best defender.
They're attacking both services as evidenced by Live momentarily going down 2 weeks ago, however as history suggests, Sony has a much harder time twharting these attacks.
It rarely goes down in this fashion. Not even close to the same magnitude if you ask me. Between maintenance, outtages and hacks, PSN takes the cake. It's an irrefutable fact. XBL goes down too, but not even close to the degree at witch PSN does. It's actually pretty obvious.
As a diehard PS fan, I can't even quantify how you guys are completely dismissing the fact that XBL has gone down at least a third the amount of time PSN has gone down since this generation has started.
This is pathetic, and as a consumer I'm not afraid to admit that I expect more.
@Payta
So if you bought The Matrix on VHS, you should be entitled to the Blu-Ray version free of charge, correct? Or how about owning an album on cassette and expecting a retroactive MP3 download courtesy of the record label? That's your argument, and frankly, it's a stupid one.
These are things you purchased more than 10 years ago. Let it go.
Wow... Well said.
WHO CAAAAAAAAARES??? Like really.
Almost my exact list..
What nerfs
You're garbage in PVP, that's why it's shit to you.
Sorry, but I hate when everyone on here picks on my favorite game.
