well or none at all. i asked my cousin to see if he could pickup a kinect for me with his employee discount at target and he said they didn't even get a shipment at his store. so who knows. maybe another target got a shipment.
You guys need to take up [freelance] content publishing as a supplementary income. You learn a lot about what you can/can't write when someone asks you to publish a review of their product/service. There are guidelines you have to follow and most of the time, you don't have to disclose if you were paid to write a certain way or not.
At least there isn't as much bias as before. With the new laws, reviewers can't be bribed with gifts. They have to return eve...
I'm not sure about this site reviewing kinect, but I'd rather a gamer's take on the device than some non-gaming review site giving me their opinion. You guys claim it's ok and that the non-gamer reviews should pass. Would you let a salesman perform a CABG on u or would u prefer the experienced licensed cardiothoracic surgeon?
I'd say outta all the reviews I've read, engadget's is the one I'd trust in since all they talk about is tech. Real t...
"you might want to buy a house with a specific room for kinect."
sorry cold. I only enjoyed ME2 and Reach this year. Fable 3 is bad. I can't help myself to continue it and Fable 2 was better. SCC was short worth a rental. AW was ok not my style of game. Don't care for CD2 either.
Put it frankly, only ME2 and Reach were the heavy hitters this year for the 360.
"Sony and Microsoft wouldn't be releasing their motion controllers to play catch up. "
You make it seem like Sony didn't release the EyeToy before the Wii. The EyeToy in essence is a motion controller too.
PR + casual-friendly image = win for the holiday shopping moms.
^
he said "games that have gameplay isn't a copy" of the games for PS2 eyetoy.
he didn't say "games that isn't a copy"
keyword: gameplay.
Yes the EyeToy had similar dancecentral-like games. This was during the DDR era. They had tons of these [full-body] dance games in the arcades too.
Consept has a broken sarcasm meter.
from this video, it is apparent that we now know how kinect will perform in a household.
So far, the device works when we have tested it in Macy's. You have to take into consideration that Macy's has it set up in an open area with ample room to move around.
seriously guys, i don't see how this [voice control] is a "minority report" type of control. It's slow and sluggish when compared to the traditional controller. Some of the parts like hovering the hand cursor over an item and waiting for the GUI to accept it looks very much like the EyeToy approach.
Lastly, I for one don't find it appealing having to move my things around just to enjoy this accessory. I remember the DDR pads. I had to move everythin...
Except BC was there to begin with. You had enough time to buy a unit with BC, and if you didn't tough luck.
This on the other hand is the same as a parent telling a child they'll buy them a new car if they got 4.0s. The kid does get 4.0s. The car never came.
Sony on the other hand is like a parent buying a car for their child. The parents no longer have money to keep the car. The car gets repo'd. The car wouldn't have gotten repo'd ...
Seriously, can you guys really trust a site that ends in .co.za ?
i don't know who to trust in these readings but judging by the videos I see lately, it appears the demo I played at the ps3 kiosk in gamestop is an older build. It has the tracks and some cars, no rain, but I figured it was a recent build until I noticed there was no sense of speed in the game. Thinking about that experience and comparing it to these vids, I think gamestop has an older build. Who knows how many various builds of this they have at all the retail kiosks out there.
there's something wrong about a game when you add side skirts and a heavier rear bodykit and reduce drag by 1%. Fun game yet uninspiring though - I want a driving game and not a riceboy game. That riceboy phase is so 10 yrs ago and nobody really fixes up their cars with wide body kits and spoilers to make their car fly these days anymore. Remember the infamous coffee can exhaust?
"we'd be left with only FPS.... oooh the joy.. (@_@)"
@hatefanboys
Did you know that of the games you listed, only 3 are games that actually don't involve any shooting and only 2 games of that 3 isn't necessarily violence and gore?
I think games development in Japan hasn't been what it used to be because they don't put in the time and effort to develop a masterpiece like Kojipro. It seems it's all about prof...
before you guys jump into talking about steel batallion et al, show us some real gameplay first and not trailers.
Wow that ps2 is still kicking and refuses to give up.
at least a car like that rolled over. far more believable than a ferrari rolling over after getting nudged. You would think a car with such low center of gravity should have a difficult time rolling over.
no wonder they said 360 is the best console to play CoD BO on. makes you wonder...
