This list is EXACTLY why I am getting a XBO.
I have a PC that can output at 1440p and a monitor to match. Nothing on consoles can match that.
However, I am looking for the whole experience on console. Believe it or not, I am EXCITED about the inclusion of kinect. I can't wait to see how it all works together in a couple of years. The servers cannot be discounted.

It has been shown that dualshockers has a pro ps4 agenda and uses questionable methods of getting stories approved on N4g.
That has been proven.
It has also been shown that staff from dualshockers frequent n4g and comment on theor own stories to heat them up.

It's to be expected. This site is Sony fanboy infested. It's like a plague. The moderators are powerless to stop the trolling of the ps4 fanboys because they would have to ban something like 50% of the site's userbase.
Banning that many trolls would cost them money by lost advertising revenue.

agreed. It appears the ps4 does have more grunt in the graphics dept. That's got to be said.
Having said that, I have always thought that top end graphics were nice, but if top end graphics really mattered, we would all have top end PCs and would not bother with consoles.
That plainly isn't the case. We have consoles for convenience and for the fun factor. Heck, I had so much fun on a commodore64 and the resolution on that breadbox was about 2p, not 1...

So far, from the two pre-release mulitplat comparisons I have seen, the ps4 outperforms the XBO. There ain't no arguing that Ps4 COD 1080p is better than 720p upscaled. It also appears that despite the washed out look on ps4, the resolution of Ps4 BF4 is better than the XBO version. Any non pixel counters will have trouble telling the difference and may even prefer the crisp image and better textures on XBO, but that is beside the technical point that the ps4 pushes ou...

See, you have missed the point.
The ps4 and XBO are so similar it's not funny. Arguing over which is better is nitpicking and one-upmanship with no real benefit except to e-peens.
If you were really interested in better performance, you would be gaming on a top spec PC at 1440p, which kicks the ps4 and xboxone to the kerb. There ain't no pixel counting required. A top spec PC shames a PS4 and XBO into the shadows.

I have a ps3 and possibly will get a ps4 too when it gets some good games released for it.
However, based on the behaviour of some the PS4 fans I am honestly questioning why I would want to identify with that community.

So that means I will be able to play it at near max settings.
Should I get it on PC?
No doubt the PC version will be best.
However, if I get the XBO version I will be able to play it on my 55" TV while reclining in my comfortable lounge... hmmm

I bought a ps3 two years ago in Australia for $AU229 with 120gb HDD while it was on special at Big W.
Man, what a great purchase: blurays, great library, great indies, PSN free.
So versatile.
I even use my ps3 browser to go to movies25 and stream movies.
Free.
Granted, you can do that on any browser but it's still cool. google it.
Sony did a lot of things right with that little box.
