It may be fun for kids, but the ps4 has never been a kid's gaming machine. The ps4 has been posited as a hardcore gamer's dream. That is no lie.

It's a bit sad that he n4g community has resorted to attacking POG when in fact the reports from the internet appear to be supporting his claims, at this stage.
Truth be told, it's too early to tell, if the ps4 really has major issues.

yeah i see what you are saying, but let's tak it a step beyond.
I also have my laptop hooked up to the TV. I also have a TV with an inbuilt android OS. My laptop and TV run apps and I have a tablet that streams to my entertainment system, just like you.
Unlike you, though, I also have a dedicated gaming PC that completely flattens the xbo and ps4 in terms of pure gaming capability.

fact of the matter is that MS took some wrong turns as a result of trying to innovate the gaming industry.
Turns out gamers aren't ready to be 100% online, Many gamers prefer physical media to this day, despite the increasing popularity of always connected mobile phones and PC gaming services such as steam. MS garnered negative feedback from their digital plans and adjusted their strategy to suit.

I think the ps3 is fab. I disagree that Sony spread themselves too thin.
In fact it was all the extra features (bluray, browser.. etc) that eventually made me buy one.
It's a great machine.
I certainly hope they haven't gimped the ps4 in other areas to make it more focused on pumping pixels.
Yeah he makes a good point. No one really knows how MS cloud is really going to work.
I guess it's worth mentioning that Sony is strong in hardware, while MS is strong in software.
Maybe MS knows something about software that Sony doesn't and that is embodied in the cloud?
MS has made some bold claims about the cloud.

In fact they stated it was TWICE as powerful.
