Games are in the 25GB-50GB range. Some even add redundant data just to fill the discs. So yeah, the fact that they made it Blu-ray dependent is one of the main reasons PS3 piracy is not rampant like it is on PS2.
So, if anyone wants to pirate games on PS3, I wish them good luck downloading that much information, getting HDDs that big, swapping them all the time, formatting them, ruinning PS3's warranty by modding it.
So that's why these games sell so much. 75% advertising, 25% actual game. That's something Xbox fanboys should think about when they promote Halo 3's sales. lmao
That's also probably why Sony hardly advertises their games. It's a lot better for them to keep pumping good games and selling them slowly with long legs rather than trying to portray the image of huge sales on day 1 so that all the tards think "OMG IT SELLS SO MUCH IT MUST BE GOOD LETS JUMP ON TEH BANDWAGON"....

Blu-ray is too expensive to be used for piracy, therefore there is no piracy on PS3 (yet), thanks to Blu-ray.

I've owned nearly all consoles starting with the NES, and that includes the Wii; popular games for consoles that came before the NES were also available at the arcades or even ported to the NES, so there wasn't a need to buy an intellivision or atari which I played at my friends homes anyway.
