I think people are largely missing the point.
The controversy goes beyond MGS, or Dead or Alive, or how many other games have had girls dressed skimpy.
The point of these articles are to examine "why?" - in video games, just like the other entertainment industries - do we portray women the way we do. (among journalist simply surving the buzz for attention)
At the end of the day it comes down to context. And I heard someone say...
Oooooh "science"
THANK YOU +
Does the picture show anything?
All I see in a Microsoft Xbox One billboard...
@ all above
Ya'll cray cray
I just sold my Wii U.
I had to face it - between GTAV, and PS4, and XB1 - I was likely to never give it my time.
Hey everyone, let's not actually read the article!!!
"A stealthy Grand Theft Auto"
Yup. That's what I think whenever I think of Metal Gear Solid...

"You could, for example, walk around the outside of the base to the side opposite where you began and start your mission from there. It’s a true sandbox in that sense. Without the linear funnels we’ve come to expect from Metal Gear Solid and the stealth genre as a whole, you’re responsible for figuring it o...
Hey GTA fanatics - I have an OT idea...
Do we know, or not, whether the 'special abilities' will be in GTA: Online?
Imagine if when we create our Online character, we choose between shooting/driving/flying as our special ability.
Red Dead had Deadeye Online, Max Payne 3 had Bullet time Online. Why won't GTA have the 3 special abilities in Online.
All the hiests (in SP) have been designed to incorperate the...
They couldn't show the entire colapse from the aerial camera?
Thaaaaaaanks.
:( - played.
ha ha ha
That's not how taking offense works. You can't only take offense, when it's intentionally given..
But does it have all the shirtless and naked guys?
I dont think so.
It does say "as a female, I'd obviously make my wardrobe choices over sexiness than practicality, in combat"
Sexy=/sexist
But, it's kinda sexist to make your female character (a soldier) have being sexy such a top priority.
I can't remember the last time I saw a skimpy dresses MALE assassin. I can't remember a male assassin ever wearing a speedo.
Oh, that's right, only female prefer to dress skimpy and ...
It's sexist because its presumes the female character would (obviously, always) have the desire to dress that sexy - regardless of being in combat.
I think the costume is simply stupid.
It's like well-trained tactical female soldier, unlike their male counterparts, wear skimpy bikinis into the field.
Cause you know, their female - that's what they wear.
I liked the part where is said Take Two or R* should sue on slander!
This is my primary concern. My 360 is ALWAYS cooking compared to my PS3.
So much that in fact, I don't use Netlfix on my 360, simpy because I feel bad for it being so hot.
Yup. Mine would be "buy it again!!"
