the persistence of the MGS4 on 360 rumor continues to amaze me. I just dont understand it.
Why not start the rumor that Halo 4 is coming to ps3 as well?
Translation: Are you an MS fanboy?
If I see another article with the headline of "Proof of PS3 price cut?" or "PS3 Slim?" I might rip my hair out and jump off a bridge. Neither one of these things are going to happen anytime soon, nor would they make ANY sense or create more than the slightest increase in sales.
People, please realize that this is one of the stupidest things on the internet. Ask yourself this.. would you be more likely to buy a system because it was skinnier? No, and Sony knows...
Realistically, what would they have to gain from making a slim version so early? Sounds like a 110% waste of time and resources.
I mean, I thought people liked the way the system looks.
I can almost understand why the retarded "price-drop" rumor comes up every damn week, but this seems beyond stupid.
I heard Elvis is still alive. It must be true.
thanks for your contribution.
As good as it is, yes its definitely overrated. Not to take anything away from it.
My snobby/elitist take on the matter is that the people who still play it for hours every day and neglect more innovative games like COD4, Killzone2, or Left 4 Dead simply have lousy taste in games. That and the fact that most of its die hard fans are 13 year-olds and fratboys.
Or not buying one because you're desperate to look like you're not trying to be hip?
Would I pay $849 for a Mac? Yes.
Would I pay $100 for a PC? No.
$25 and maybe I can use it as a portable dvd player.
this game must be selling like hotcakes if its 25% off already.
If they have this at kiosks why isnt it on PSN or XBL? (or is it, and I just missed it)
Im pumped for this game, that delay sucks
I mean, I enjoyed it. But it didn't hook me like FO3, oblivion, or even mass-effect did.
It was a well made game, but something about it felt last-gen. I can definitely understand how someone could either love it or think it blows.
I was massively let down by this game. I'm not sure why, I just felt like it was missing something the whole time I played it.
That would suck for PS3-only users, but it would clear up alot of the confusion and anger over this.
Ive always favored game exclusives rather than DLC exclusives, it just seems to make more sense.
I agree with most of what youre saying, but I think the main difference is in that Killzone and and Uncharted are PS3 exclusives, while Fallout 3 was released for PS3 alongside the 360 version.
Maybe, Bethesda shouldve just made their games 360 exclusives since theyre so loyal to it.
I mean, lets say Killzone 2 came out for 360 as well as the PS3 and neither version had multiplayer, but months later, Guerrilla Games decided to only add multiplayer to the PS3 version....
Its not MS's fault for paying for it, and its not Sony's fault for not paying for it.
Its Bethesda's fault for selling a $60 game for both and only supporting it on one console. What if Samsung sold TV's through Best Buy and Walmart but then later said, "Oh, only the Walmart TV's get the extended warranty and firmware updates".
Offering different colored armor or other trivial things (Dead Space, Soul Calibur) is one thing, but not offering hours of extra gamepla...
Does this mean I can load up my level 20 character that I already beat the game with?
This should be what "Gold" is. Let people play online for free, but charge them for the perks, storage, etc.
This demo is taking literally hours upon hours to download. I have pretty fast internet and I am at about 40% after 2-3 hours.
anyone else experiencing this frustration?
