Well lucky for Sony they have exclusives. Which would make the PS4 Pro the best place to play those games. So no, I don't see the problem with my logic. I'm thinking about heavy hitters like Horizon, God of War, Gran Turismo, Uncharted 4.
Not everyone is into pc gaming too you know, and audio/videophiles who spend money on all the dvd/cd/blu-ray/UHD blu-ray they own won't give a damn about spending money to buy a good UHD player.
Audio/Videophiles probably have a dedicated device to play those high quality media. So I'm not sure they will care about the lack of a UHD drive, they'll care about the quality of the games.

If you downplay CoD, please use logic next time. It's not that hard to find something on the game (like the weapon variants that are unbalanced beyond comprehension).

When I play a shooter, I either like a strategic one, preferably to play with friends, or a fast paced one, like Call of Duty to play by myself (I won't be getting BF1 or IW though maybe Titanfall for its campaign depending on how much money I can spend on games).

That would mean 5-10 new IP, which console launched with that amount of new IP? 20 launch window games would be great! I don't think they'll have that many tbh, but pretty much all of the big games they'll release will be must-haves.
Edit: I meant games, not IP, my bad. Doesn't change the fact that that wouldn't be one of the best launch line-ups in recent memory though.
The stick in the center makes sense when they're attached to the controller I suppose. I'll have to try it myself to know if I like it when they're used separately.
PS4 is game focused, after the initial reveal, Xbox got game focused. Doesn't take anything away of the good job Nintendo is doing with this console. This thing'll be HUGE in Japan. And I can see it succeed in the rest of the world as well (I know I'm getting one sooner or later). They also have a nice list of 3rd parties supporting the Switch! Can't wait to see more as the release is coming closer.
there will be a Pokémon game for the Switch coming in it's first 6 (I think) months after release. At least that's what I read somewhere, don't really know where anymore. That's a big incentive to get this console for me too. But there are enough other first party games coming I'm sure that make this thing worth buying!

Yeah you're right, it's not a D-pad, but there are buttons to give directions, which is what you were aiming at I think.

What do you mean, no D-pad? The left Joy-Con controller has a D-pad. It's just split in 4 buttons.

Killzone 2 is better than BF1. What the heck, if we even go further back, BLACK was a better fps than BF1 (still waiting for a new fps by Criterion). All these battlefield kiddies thinking there's only BF, COD and TF.
Some more fps games that are better than BF1: Bioshock, Half Life ( 1 and 2 ), GoldenEye 007, Quake III and this little game series called Halo ( I and II in particular ). Ever heard of it?

It is confirmed there'll be a Pokémon game for the NX within it's first 6 months after release. That's a pretty big game if you ask me.
Don't be that guy. There's a big graphical improvement. From 1080p to native 4K. HDR on every PS4 out there. One of the best games ever just became even better.
