Ready for what? You know nothing about it yet.
If you want a game that doesn't follow the current thing, check out Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
We hear the same thing every year. Every year is always 'the year of Xbox' and then it falls even further behind the competition. Sure it'll have more first party games but does anyone think it'll really make a difference at this point?
They may, but I'm not expecting the Pro to be cheap, and therefore I can't imagine it'll present much value for that performance bump. I'm not saying I'll never get one, but I just have to be more selective about what I spend my money on. At this point the Pro would not be top of my list, especially when the games I play perform with no issue on base PS5.
PS5 Pro can't offer me a reason to buy it.
Not when the base PS5 still isn't being maxed out. I can't justify throwing more money at yet another system when I don't need it.
A few years back I'd have probably jumped at the chance to have a the best PS5 available but now, given the cost of living issues, I have to reprioritise and spend my money where I'll get the most value, and right now, given I already have a PS5 that isn't being used...
It won't be.
According to Obscure, all it needs to be 'true next gen' is for it not to be on PS5. He said the same thing about Starfield. Look how that turned out.
The more exclamation marks the better, right?
You sound 5 years old.
If it's not action heavy then 30fps should be fine.
Mind you, I still think 60fps should always be an option.
For a lot of games 8 hours is just getting started. I would say that there's no way I'd pay £70 for a game so short, no matter how good the story is, but since it's digital only I'd never buy it anyway.
It's stupid when people say that. Why does it need to be a GoW killer? Why did Killzone need to be a Halo killer? Why can't they just been their own things?
"I personally rather have a shorter but unforgettable gaming experience rather than a longer, boring and totally forgettable one."
Quote from Obscure Observer. The guy that shilled big for Starfield as the best thing since sliced bread doesn't like long, boring and forgettable games. Interesting...
This is digital only? That would be an instant no-buy for me.
Mind you, nobody will buy it anyway, they'll just rent it on GP.
@merlox I would agree with you - I have an original handheld, founders edition VS, limited edition EXP and a full game collection - however, it seems more and more people are experiencing issues with their carts, myself included. The fact that they are flash carts is really starting to become evident, and it seems that they are prone to errors. On top of that, Blaze's own quality control leaves a lot to be desired, with buggy firmware also being more common.
I'm ...
Believe me, I'm not worried. I don't worry about games.
Nobody asked for Copilot either, yet they forced it on us.
They'll give you it whether you want it or not.
Didn't notice any lag at all in the demo
The issue isn't racism, it's just that it's a crap game.
Nothing worse than a grammar nazi
Well, if GAAS are the only way forward, then the only way for me is the exit. This isn't what I want to see for the future of the industry and I will not be part of it.
