It is a problem, especially with MAG. Not everyone would play as a team and follow orders. Finding a large group that can do that to play every time is impossible. Most tend to just run and gun, therefore, finding a good game in MAG is rare. That is the down fall of MAG, the idea is great, but in reality, it isn't practical.

1. The cruise ship would still be swinging back and forth (in a different pattern as it may) the next time u play correct? but how would that create a different experience the next time u played when all it does is just rock back and forth?

2. What is the purpose of the rocking ship in the first place? it isn't to make u feel like u are actually in a big storm in the middle of the ocean which u should have experiences from the first play th...

Scripted event are pretty good, but it doesn't add anything to replay value. Once u see it, that is it. It is like the first time seeing summoning of Shieva in FF7, but then after like 2 times, im ready to skip it. The sole reason why all of these linear scripted games required some sort of MP gameplay to extend it lives.

Open game wise is more interesting, like RDR for example, because it always changes. U see something different/ changes everytime. Hence, u don&#...

so for those that disagree, care to answer these few questions?

1. u think the fire going to spread anywhere else, forcing u to find a different path everytime? Like instead of shooting the wooden bar to open a path in the wall, can u run through another exist since the fire pattern gonna change next time u played?

2. Are there many different paths that you can take, or only one way forward?

3. Are those ledges not gonna fall the n...

@extermin8or

Have u played Far Cry 2 running on x360? That is real time fire. UC3 physics is definetly not as complicated as dynamic game like Far Cry 2 for example, which can be played on consoles.

I'll bet u anything that if you play UC3 again going into the burning building, the fire pattern will just be the same...

and here i thought people on n4g claim ps3 community are mature gamers, don't curse online, etc....instead of stupid kids cursing every few second. Well, You just prove them wrong bahabeast8619. Thanks for representing the ps3 crowd. Keep it up bro.

@fallenangel

he already has ps3 and it doesn't looks like he in needs of money. If you are a gamer, what is the point of selling your consoles u already own?

@colonel179

so is the memory card mandatory for PS Vita?

Cause if it is, i don't see your point. I still play on the xbox using cable that i already have (that comes in with the box) and i use rechargeable battery that cost $20 for a pack of 20 that i'm still using till this day. All of that comes out to be $520, which is still cheaper than $600; although i did get my first brand new x360 in 2007 for only $200, a special offer. The only thing tha...

I like 1Up reviews. This game is excellent.

@gribblegrunger
I think they always give credit to game that came up with something first which still counts for the sequal perhaps.
Example:
CoD: MP perks
Gears: MP mode like horde mode/beast mode (though i'm thinking they have been doing this for years for 2D fighting game like capcom vs. snk)
Halo: MP match making system (not too sure about this one, were there match making ...

totally agree. This is one thing i think ND pay attention to. Many game seems to just focus on endless action (it is fun, but not enough time to absorbe the story or anything). People feel worn out by the time the game end. Gonna be one stellar game.

@perkel

1. Why do u think developers lower the resolutions when things get heavy (too much things on screen) to maintain frame rate, vsync, etc..? Rendering a lot of things, doing 3D and split screen do impact on the IQ of the game. Gears is more action oriented than UC (which is about sight seeing) and the IQ is pretty amazing too no less.
2. Like i said, u can do more on IQ when thing are scripted (like UC or GoW3). If you want razor sharp IQ for scripted gam...

4. UC is pretty good with cinematic gameplay, but so can other games like Crysis 2 or even older game on the xbox like advent rising (especially the plane part in UC vs. advent rising aircraft battle....same shit here, just better graphics than Advent rising). It is just that ND really focus on that aspect, while other games focus on something else.
Here is something similar to UC from Advent Rising on the original xbox

@ApplEglelephant

1. ND said 3D is like doing split screen, and Gears has split screen since Gear 1 w/out issues. Gears 3 has split screen and 3D over it (with some sacrifice to textures though same as KZ3). Same w/ Halo 3/reach/ where u can play 4 split screens no problem. Think before u said about too much processing. Do u think KZ or UC can actually going split screen or 3D without sacrificing anything? Look what happen to KZ3 analysis by Digital Foundry going split s...

like i said, bugs in game like BF isn't good, but for open game where weird things happen all the time like RDR for example, sometimes bugs can be quite fitting and add a bit of element of surprises to it.

5264d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

not really, some of the bugs in RDR are very interesting and just out right hilarious. Some can be quite creepy too.

so what would happen to exclusivity?

@sinncross
oh, i guess they were only talking about portable/downloadable games.

for this kind of game, bugs free would be better. For game like Read Dead Redemption, keeps those bugs please, cause those sometimes are the best part of that game.

WOW is probably the biggest money maker. Diablo isn't because it is free to play online, but the sheer number of people buying it is also pretty high (+10million?). I still see people play Diablo 2 right now (i played that like 10 years ago), it is pretty insane if you ask me. Star craft also free to play online.

The sell unit for those games are quite high and also very popular, but making money wise from month to month, nothing beat WOW.

Again...

Hum, i thought Blizzard is also part of Activision no?

Diablo and StarCraft are pretty huge games, if not 2 of the biggest games in the industry as well. They have like at least 4 major IPs and all of them are doing phenomenally well. All of them are gaming industry biggest cash cows.
