quite elaborate for an intro. This look more like the battle sequences in the earliest trailer of FF13. The moving stage is much better than a static one, though most battle won't be like this i'm assuming.
The sorcery looks good. Although i still think Sony is marketing the move toward the wrong crowd.
yeah so did okami back in ps2 days over other games on the ps2 and xbox. So what does that mean?
Is the award for technical aspect or purely artistic?
1. If it is about technical power, they should have given it to Crysis 1 back then. Heck even now, but they didn't.
2. Look at Crysis 2 or BF3 on consoles (not PC), they should have award too, but people tend to like artistic games more. That doesn't mean Crysis 2/BF3 games aren&...
Kojima is the executive producer for this one as well and the way that he is, he just not gonna let his life work down the drain regardless of spin off or not.
Platinum is known for battle mechanic and overtop action. While the old built look interesting, i actually prefer the new fighting mechanic to the old ones. Just look at the sword fight in MGS4 multiplayer, or the old built and tells me u actually prefer that mechanic over the new trailers. Since they switching the ...
u can't, u won't know what days/time/year you are in, u just play. Dam u skyrim.
US is pretty big, and usually game like RDR, Fallout, GTA, or Skyrim, as big as they are, are still confine to within one area like a city for example. Across US sound like it gonna be a linear game than open one one. I can't fathom how they could do an open world game of the entire US.
They could have sections of different part of US that are somewhat open, but a sandbox type seem very unlikely.
nice, good music/sound is mandatory for immersion for any movie or games. Without it, it would be like watching porn without sounds.
The game looks interesting.
if you have 2 kids or more, what should the rest do when they have only 1 pair of 3d glasses?
And what is the age requirement to play KZ3?
@hiredhelp
so how are they suppose to do business then if everything should be free?
Everything cost more and more each day, services and server aren't free, workers that works on these services/server need to be fed, etc...how are they gonna solve these problems if things are free?
consumers can be quite unrealistic sometimes.
Well the next console should have as little technical issues as possible, decent HDD so...
so what being a "real" gamer is actually about? Anyone care to give examples?
^
so you would rather play a subHD game at 30fps than a 720p at 60fps?
it has "Anarchy" fighting feel to it. well let see how this turn out. The gameplay mechanic is probably in good hands with platinum and hopefully the story also goes well in the hands of Kojima team.
The trailer looks pretty good (fighting wise).
i mean i still really like the game (one of my favorite game this gen) and it does have a lot of potential. The game just need a bit more variety i guess. The atmosphere in AW really impresses me, probably one of the best out there.
Yeah, i would like some more puzzle element too, it would be interesting. It needs to have real transition from morning to night as well instead of skipping back and forth. Imagine you fighting a horde of those darkness and you slowly running...
man that is some serious selling power of the MW franchise, every year no less.
Here is a note from Sony 2007 earning report:
"beginning with Q1 FYO7, the method of reporting hardware and software unit sales has been changed from production "shipments" to recorded "sales". It is just a change in the wording that is all.
MS and Sony do not track sell to actual customers, and that is where NPD/gftrack, vgchart...etc......
I thought the gunplay was decent. U have to shine on them and can only shoot one at a time while the others swarming you from all front; The enemies are smart (if you shoot them, some will hide behind trees and start throwing stuff at you instead), super fast and always tries to flank you as a group. It actually added a frantic feel to the games. An example of this would be like whenever you get into a car, you just want to ran them over and over savioring every bit of that sweet revenge t...
Pretty fair review and i agree that gears is pretty bad at character development (the score maybe a bit low for a DLC though). Gameplay wise, it is actually pretty good for a DLC to add 3 hrs of gameplay (almost the same as some other full games) and i think most lesser DLCs also cost just as much.
i kinda hate the hand gesture. Now u can slide the dash board freely, but it has a hard time recognizing if you want to go right or left. It often keep going in one direction regardless if you slide in either direction.
This is what yogaflame wrote:
"Thank you M$ for killing the quality of Sqaure soft games and FF", he is talking about QUALITY (not quantity). So i'm simply respond to him about why MS didn't kill SE quality, SE did it to them self because obviously, LO for example didn't suffer any lack of content (towns, world map, air/summarine ship). Can you guys read?
@D3monsoul
Yes, you are right, there are more JRPG on ps3 crowd, alt...
@yogaflame
go play Lost Odyssey and Tales of Vesperia first, then come back and tell me if MS really kill quality of Square Enix games or SE does it to themselves?
And no ff13 wasn't gimp because it went to x360, it was a new vision/and poor planning SE has for it that didn't turn out well. Just look at other much larger games like RDR, GTA, Fallout, Skyrim, Fable, Lost Odyssey, last remnant, and the upcomming Witcher 2). Arguing about this topic ov...
@remember
the differences between Skyrim and UC3 is substance vs. looks.
"Environments that change all around you, a simulated ocean with an entire ship capsizing with you in it, a building slowly burning down with you in it"
They sure looks great, but do those things changes creating a different experience the next time u played as ND said they would (they claim that the environment are DYNAMIC)? Let see if that is true?
