people talk about how they are saving money with the added replay value because of trophies/achievements, but they are actually spending more money so they can keep playing more games to get more trophies/achievements.
i am personally not a fan of the "award system." i just want to play my game, enjoy the story, and move on to the next.

SE is up front about all charges in FFXI
and about the various posts with people expecting new content in remakes. Those people should reseach a remake before they buy it and start crying about being screwed

almost 100% of the niche JRPG fanbase on this side of the world understand a quality game is not made through graphics nor do we really listen to reviewers however RPGamer is a nice site
i am apart of the JRPG niche fanbase on this side of the world. SE personally is one of my least my fav. the company would really be better if they split back up into two companies and went back to their roots. they have really done nothing since their merge except make their original fans hate them and find better quality (not speaking of graphics) games elsewhere.

this game is an example of a great idea that was just poorly put together. lets see what SE will drop the ball on next, they have been doing it alot since the merge.
because you can only take a reviewers word with a grain of salt, plain and simple.
a reviewers word and game score is simply an opinion (of the actual reviewer or someone else). that means it is not fact
the moral; try games and find out for yourself what is for you. whats bad for someone may not be bad for the next man.

and factoring in the $100 increase when you add 60Gigs (i.e. no HDD $199.99, 60GIG 299.99, and 120GIG $399.99)
you have $200 for the console plus you take into account the sixteen 60 gig harddrives (with the remainder of 40 gigs to make the 1TB) you are left with atleast sixteen 100 dollar increases.
all together, this console adds up to $1800+ dollars based on the rate of increase when adding 60gigs to a 360

i have personally played every NIS game thats not strat/tactics and i like them. so i love the NIS crossovers and i look forward to seeing more
your exactly right. unless the characters or games featured in a crossover mean something to the player, then the game will suck to the player most likely
Eh, unless your into crossover games, the characters featured in this game, the games freatured in this game, sprite graphics, and random battles with enemies your cant see then you wont like this game. Reviewers are nothing more than people who are paid to give us their opinion, i personally never listen to them. if i did, then i wouldn't play jrpgs, because the american gaming press has felt the need to bash jrpgs for any reason it can find over the past few years. but hey, i am my own pers...

i have all the games including the ones that didnt come here (well except for the wii and DS ones)
so this news has me looking forward to them both just a little bit more ^_^
magna carta 1 was fun to me on PS2
i just had to ignore the worst camera angles in gaming
but aside from that it was a good game in my opinion
i have both systems so i could care less what it come out on, i just look forward to playing the 2nd
