ugh squareenix is so mediocre compared to other developers
well the wii is declining because it was a complete gimmick. it was simply a game cube with DVD rom, wifi, and an IR controler.
the reason sony and microsoft are adapting to it is so they can not only pull in the core gamers that they already have but also the casual crowd which the wii was most successful with
the psp is getting JRPG love, im really glad.
now if only the PS3 can get more of that love
yeah, thats because the chrono trigger team was working hard on FFXI
i really love all three games.
however with my intense love of JRPGs, there are so many more that can be on this list
i cant wait to play this game
almost 100% of the games atlus puts its stamp on are great, and i buy them on release without a second though
i can agree with part of your comment, but as far as back up in cash for the company as a whole they do have that. they pretty much push every form of in house and portable tech in existence, not to mention they are heavily involved in the film and music industry.
though sony was hit with its largest loss ever, microsoft as well as many other large corporations are all suffering losses due to our economic situation.
as far as the gaming divisions go. the PS3 was one ...
well i never liked greenburg but i hope some interesting developments take place at that conference
the last fat PS2 model was the best in my opinion, so was the last larger model of the PS1. so i think i will stick to my fat PS3
i love the hell out of my ps3 but home really needs to be more and bigger than what it is to meet the hype. all it is is a boring social network place. a very boring social networking place. if your supposed to be able to meet people on it, atleast like it to myspace and facebook or something. the only cool thing i have seen done with home was the giant gundam in japan's home.
im as disappointed in sony's home as i was in xbox/360's Halo 3, Fable 1 & 2, Gears of War 1 & 2...
console fanboyism abounds at N4G, and we constantly see immature gamers who cant debate a point without BS. as a result we only see a few worth while posts.
geez why cant we just love and enjoy great games, agree to disagree about what we like and be friends, and move on. we all have a common thread here, WE ARE ALL GAMERS, but so many people seem to forget that.
i like both consoles and own them both. i will admit of the two, i favor the PS3 personally. but i dont g...
you guys disagreeing with Saaking (mrblacknut and DuneBuggy) do understand that the PS3, PS2 and PSP are all apart of the same division, right.
"add in Windows, Microsoft Office... and count again."
really?!
thats like saying the Playstation division sees the profits made from sony's TV's, digital camera's, VAIO's, etc.....
i do kinda have a double standard on this. games from alot of companies i wont buy new because they arent really good or they are too short. however, when it comes to companies like atlus, NIS, level 5 or namco/bandai (rpgs) i will always buy those new because the have a habit of bringing out great games
the closest thing to the truth i seen quoted is 68% fail rate for the 360 and i only know that to be true because i know so many people who had to replace it multiple times and they take good care of their sh*t
i wouldn't say anything the PS3 is .01% fail safe (thats pretty much impossible) but less than 1%, yes.
but i do agree that all fanboys should die. all this fanboy BS didnt start till a NA company started making a console. i guess they see it as some form of patriotism, who knows. all i know is that fanboys seem to forget that they (sony and microsoft) are both corporations trying to make money and save money any way they can. fanboys seem to think these companies really give a s...
when your dealing with anything man made, it will never be 100% fail safe. thats just fact. the PS3 is built wayyyyy better than the 360, hince the PS3's less than 1% fail rate. the 360's fail rate is so high im honestly afraid to even ask what the percentage actually is (i read 68% on one report) but if your interested in reading all the #'s check this out

lol i agree 100% that its not a good thing for atlus to appeal to the masses. god forbid they end up like EA or SquareEnix. that would just piss me off. i am all about the japanese niche titles, so atlus should stay like the are. if they happen to be forced to merge with any company i would be pissed if it was anyone except NIS
LMAO that little argument is funny xD
and it is also FACT that i want this game as well
i would personally be happier seeing an SMT 4 first but if its persona 5 i can also be happy with that. being the history of the series i expect a little long of a wait before P5. remember there was quite a long wait between P2 and P3, 7 years. i dont expect it to be that long, but i do expect a wait so we can get the mainstay series which has been neglected for some time.
