The bad thing is the use of the Cell processor in the PS3 will probably cause problems with backwards compatibility in the PS4. That is unless they use some iteration of the Cell, which is unlikely.
We've got Fable 2 on the 21st, then Fallout 3 the 28th, then Gears 2 Nov 7th then Left 4 Dead Nov 17th. I've got Fable 2 and Fallout 3 on pre-order and my gaming wallet is already begging for mercy. Not to mention Endwar turned out to be one of the best RTS I've played so far this gen and I'll be buying it

Microsoft wouldn't have to pay Rockstar or anyone else to use Live to sell even more copies of an older game. I imagine MS is probably getting a cut of the sales, and Rockstar is tickled pink at the opportunity to make even more money on GTA: SA.
That is one of the biggest reasons that I stopped playing games on PC. It's a pain in the balls just to finally get to play a fully functional game. Last generation, when console games couldn't technically produce games with the depth and visual quality of PC games, it was sort of worth the hassle. It's not just Ubi. I can't recall the last time I've heard a 3rd party praise the PS3 without so form of "but..." attached to it.
Endwar is designed around voice command. PS3 doesn't come with a headset, so why waste time making a demo for folks who can't even play the game correctly?
