I'm just really burnt out on this argument. It's goes the same way every time. A group of Sony fans trying to make 360 fans feel ashamed for paying a small subscription fee for a service that they enjoy and want. All while they settle for the technical flaws and missing features of their free service. If PSN or online PC gaming were as good as Live, I wouldn't have a problem paying 10 cents a day for them. The reason PSN & online PC gaming are free is because compared to Live, these servi...

30 Sony fans crying because 360 owners pay for a service that they want.

There is quiet a big gap in quality between Live and these free services that you're refering to.

Oh, o.k. I just came here from Gamespot, because their forum moderation is overly strict. This place so far seems like System Wars x 2 lol.

Not to mention the fact that $50 gets you 4000 MS points, not 3000. This guy is obviously lieing.

WTF are you talking about? I just joined this site a few days ago. I don't know anyone here.

I happen to like my ps3. But it's certainly not "godlike" or imo the best console this generation, like alot of people on here spew. If it was, I would be agreeing with these seemingly delusional people.

And Kojima is the biggest rip-off artist in the development community. It's not a secret that numerous characters in the MG series were taken straight from popular American movies. I also happen to think Halo was a rip-off of Starship Troopers, does that make you feel...

MS had better be ponying up for that 3rd disc. I'm a fan of the 360, but if it hurts the game not having enough space. Then I'll add Rage to my small library of ps3 games.

Someone needs to call Kojima out as well.

From what I see though trickster40, Sony has done gamers a dis service. They built a machine that was over-priced and built entirely around injecting the public with their in-house movie format. Do you honestly believe that they had gaming in mind when they put a chip that not a single developer knew how to use in the beginning. I think it's great that GOD of War has graphics on the same level as Gamecube and Xbox games. But wouldn't it have been nice to have that quality day 1, instead of 6-...

Sony & Toshiba were not trying to make leaps and bounds in computer technology when they paid IBM to engineer the Cell. Sony was looking for a chip that could be used as a CPU/GPU hybrid (just like Emotion Engine) as well as being a powerful video decoder for the blu-ray movie format that they were developing. Toshiba was interested in a powerful video decoder for their HDTV's. The Cell isn't the future of PC boards or gaming. It's a cutting edge video decoder, and a "poor man's"...

While I agree that devs are improving on the Cell. I certainly haven't played or seen any ps3 games that are "well ahead" of everything on 360. And that includes MGS4, Uncharted, and KZ2. Maybe I've just played more games than you have, but I haven't played/seen ANY ps3 game that couldn't graphically be done on the 360 and vice-versa.

My son is 5, I don't just turn him loose on anything. He is a big fan of the Lego games, Cloning Clyde, etc. He's a huge Star Wars fan. I'm debating whether or not to get him The Force Unleashed. He already knows about it, and asks me occasionally if it has been released.

I'll certainly be picking this game up, but I agree with Kobe. The graphics aren't horrible, but I'm hoping that by Nov it has more polish than it does right now(which it should). The gameplay looks dead on though. The video that I posted below gives me an "Oh sh*t" moment just from watching it.

Take a chill pill. The guys warranty is obviously not expired, and won't for another 4 monthes assuming he bought a 360 at launch.

And no one is saying that the 360 hasn't had it's share of hardware problems. At the same time, I don't believe half the bs I read on the internet regarding the rrod. Because my experience with the 360 hasn't even come close to the majority of bs I see some people claiming.

Peace

I like it as well. You won't catch me complaining while they are adding even more to an already great service.

Entertaining read, the guy has a good sense of humor. I can see his points about Viva Pinata as well. I don't think it would be harmful to children though. A childs knowledge of the world isn't on the same level as an adults. I was really suprised though myself how much the mechanics of the game simulated the actual circle of life.

What's there to research? EA own's the NFL license, they have gobbled up a slew of very talented dev studio's and IP's over the years, and they are the largest game publisher on the planet. Add little quips like hiring Peter Moore, a man who has launched more game consoles than any single corporate VP in history. It seems very feasible, if you have been paying attention.

How did your 3 yr warranty "just expire" when the 360 hasn't even been on the market for 3 yrs?
