Sony PR&Marketing told him this. And he believes someone trying to sell him something over numerous complaints multi-plat developers have went public with. Why? Because he paid out the a** for a ps3 and his brain will not let him fathom the fact that the ps3 isn't better than the 360. I wish that I were a multi-billionaire, I would send some of the sony fanboys of the world a free 360 and 10 games, just so they would realize how retarded that they have been acting.
From what I see it leaves the ps3 with extended dev cycles, second rate online service, and most importantly a huge lack of quality games compared to the 360.

Hardware wise the 360 and PS3 are the same year model. The Ps3 was originally scheduled to release spring 2006, but was delayed because of blu-ray diode shortages and poor chip yields of the Cell processor.
His game developing career is about to take off. I'm still shocked by the fact that a single person created such an awe inspiring game. In 2D no less.
